Tamera, unable to contain her excitement, screamed at the top of her voice, declaring that it was over with a toast. Little did Penn know that, from a distance, the mystery guy was watching the unfolding drama, realising the impact of Larry's unusual behaviour and his jealously shifted the night. The night was fun and full of games when Penn came back with drinks. But he was jealous of Penn talking about another man, Larry couldn't stand hearing her talk about someone else. It was obvious that Larry was jealous. He didn't want Penn to move on, hoping he still had a chance with her. To him, Penn was special, someone he wanted to marry and have kids with. But his cheating led him to lose Penn, and he ended up with Jessica instead.

The mystery guy sat in the back where the lights were dim, with a lady by his side, watching Larry's behaviour. A smile crossed his face, sensing that Larry was somehow connected to the lady he met at the bar. Larry kept sending messages to Penn's phone, asking about the guy and the note she picked up. Jessica had enough and stormed off, leaving everyone at the table shocked. Marc excused himself and tapped Larry on the shoulder, signalling they should go outside to talk.

Marc asked Larry why he was so tense and wanted to ruin the night, a night of celebration, a night to remember. Larry replied, saying he couldn't stand to see another man making her smile. Marc reminded Larry he had the opportunity to do so, but he couldn't keep his tongue in his head. Marc asked Larry about the relationship between him and Jessica. Larry replied, "I don't know," he lost Penn and losing Jessica at the same time is not something he wants. He's just keeping Jessica around. Jessica, outside, heard the conversations and burst into tears. Larry confessed he loves Penn and wants to try to work things out.

Marc said, "I know you love Penn, but I don't think there's any coming back from this one. You hurt her bad. Even though she called it quits, you didn't fight for the relationship. You messed up. Now she's gone, trying to get over the hurt. Let her go man. Let her heal and find love, and besides, the guy from the bar, she isn't going to see him again, he looks like a player. I'm willing to bet she's not looking for anything now. Whatever the guy has told her may have resonated with her. You have Jessica, she's who you wanted. 'Yes, I do. She's pretty and has a great body. But my heart belongs to Penn.

"You shouldn't have told her to burn your stuff," Marc said. Larry asked, "Did she really burn them?" Marc scoffed, "Well, no, she didn't. She still has them at her place." Larry explained, "But she ended things that night. I wasn't thinking straight. All I knew was I had Jessica, and she's hot." Marc questioned, "Then why are you fighting for her now?" Larry replied, "I can't stand to see her talking to another man." Marc pointed out, "Now you're being selfish. You chose Jessica, and she chose to tough it out to get over you."

"What are you willing to do now?" Marc asked. "I'm going to fight for Penn, while you have Jessica?" Larry sighed. "Yes, I'm still going to keep Jessica around," Marc replied saying. "You're setting yourself up for disaster. It's either you keep Jessica or let go of Penn. You can't have both."

"You have to figure this out, man," Marc said. "Either you go inside and talk to Penn, tell her how you feel, or you leave her alone and stop making the night uncomfortable. Besides, I didn't expect you to bring Jessica when you asked me what I was doing after graduation. You had a chance to sit next to Penn and talk to her, but you brought a plus one. Penn even gave up her seat for you and Jessica. The empty seat next to her was meant for you. You blew it." Larry held his head, saying he didn't know, and he messed up again. Marc said, "You're blind to things, Larry. You're always like this. Let's go back inside and enjoy the rest of this festive night."
