19 - Double date? A showcase of boyfriends.

Just a few days back, Mina could remember her atrocious agreement with her best of best friends, Ejirou. A double date. Rather a showcase of their boyfriends. 

If it was anyone else, Hanta would never agree. He had an inferiority complex based on his looks. He thought any man was better looking than him.

But Mina made the rules. Hanta was the husband who simply followed them.

So she asked him.

Two days ago

Hanta rang the doorbell to Mina's dorm. Considering her house was quite far from the university, her parents suggested she visit them on weekends.

He did have a key to the dorm, but he only used it when Mina wasn't home or she was using the bathroom. he would much rather have her open the door for him. After a long, silly day of work, he looked up to this.

As ridiculous as it was, he liked seeing her. 

As his thoughts swarmed around Mina, the door slammed open. "Hanta!" She exclaimed. It hadn't been long since they were on a first-name basis. Furthermore, it was just now that Mina had stopped calling him with an honorific.

Hanta lounged forward and accepted her warm hug. "I missed you!" she exclaimed and kissed his cheek. "Missed you more~" Hanta said and kissed her cheek. 

"Missed you even more!!" Mina said and kissed his cheek again.

"Missed you so, so, so much more!" 

Sure, they were such an unhinged couple. It didn't matter though, because what they had was much more precious than a stupid judgment. Sure, people could say that Hanta was too childish for his age, but they could suck it. Mina liked it, and so did the people around him.

Mina chuckled, "We both miss each other okay? Now let's go inside, it's chilly out here," she said, and considering that all she was wearing was a loose half-sleeve maroon shirt that said 'Forget and Forgive' and blue shorts that barely reached half her thigh, Hanta wasn't surprised.

Mina led him inside. Hanta was here, more often than he was at his own house. It only made him feel down to part from her at night. Usually, when it was her time of the month, he'd stay over for a full week. He always gave her support when she had cramps and did all the work.

"I bought food for us," He said, with a homey smile. "Oh, I was going to start cooking any minute now, but okay!" Mina said and led him to the couch. "Shouldn't we eat at the table?" Hanta asked.

"Nope, we need to be comfy so I can persuade you to do something," Mina stated. Oh shit. Hanta prayed it won't be something incredibly unhinged like wearing a poop costume. Last time, just to please Mina on her birthday, she made him wear a banana costume which she bought from god knows where. 

Hanta put a mental prayer down and sat down. "Thank you for the food!" They said in harmony. The two began to dig in before Mina slapped her hand on Hanta's thigh. He murmured, "Ow."

"You're coming with me on a double date," Mina announced. 

"Oh, hell nah," Hanta rejected immediately.

"Come on Hanta! I promised Ejiro you'd come!" Mina exclaimed.

"Well, then tell him I won't!" 

"He'd be so sad tho!~"

"I 'on give a shit," Hanta shook his head and got right off his place. He walked to the dining table only for Mina to follow him. He sat down reluctantly and Mina sat down with him too. He stuffed his mouth with food as fast as he could. An unhealthy habit that's he'd do when he feels uncomfortable.
