Ghostbusters (OC's Included)

Chapter 7: Columbia University

The Ghostbusters had arrived at Columbia University, and saw Dean waiting for them.

"Oh, thank goodness you're here!" said Dean, "We have a horrible problem!"

"What is it?" asked Seth, crossing his arms.

"Well," said Dean, "There's been strange things going on, and we've seen no evidence of it being a prank of one of the students."

"Well," said Seth, "Thank you for wasting our time. We're leaving now."

Seth then turned and was about to walk away, only to be stopped by Braedey, who said, "Seth, I'm getting readings inside."

"So, how does this work?" asked Sean.

"Well," said Braedey, "Just flip the switch, and aim, and press the button there. But don't cross the streams."

"Why not?" asked George.

"Well," said Seth, "Let's say there's a 90% chance of it melting your face off."

"I see," said Sean.

The group split up, and Seth looked at the room that the Ghostbusters were in before they were removed. He saw that it had been a mess. In fact, the whole wing was empty.

"Hey guys," said Seth, checking his P.K.E. Meter, "I'm getting something over here."

The others came in, and they looked around. Titan had on para-goggles, and looked around.

"Um, guys," said George, "Something's rubbing my shoulders."

Titan turned, to see a figure was rubbing his shoulders.

"Don't.... move...." said Titan, slowly pulling out his partical thrower.

"Hold on," said Seth, "Time to test our latest invention."

Seth pulled out a flashlight, with a purple cover holding the lense in. He then pressed the button, and a rainbow light shown on George, and revealed a female figure, who seemed to be 16, with brown hair, a thin figure, slender arms and a ghost tail below her waist.

"Um," she said, "Hi. Where are you all from?"

Braedey used the meter, and said, "She's definitely a ghost. But, she's not attacking us."

"Well, I've watched you guys for years," said the ghost, "But, when they kicked you out, I got a bit, restless. I liked how you were trying to prove ghosts exist. In fact, I was going to reveal myself, and let you present me to the board."

"Why?" asked David.

"Well, what would you want to do if you couldn't go to the great beyond," asked the ghost.

Sean and George then put their devices away and looked at the ghost, as Sean asked, "Do you have a name?"

"My name is Tamara Darling," said the ghost, "And, I've been dead for 14 years."

"Do you wanna come with us?" asked George.

"Wouldn't that be odd?" asked Tamara.

"Well," said Braedey, "We actually already have another ghost living with us."

"Hey guys," said Seth, "Could Tamara come with me for a minute?"

"$20,000?!!?" exclaimed Dean.

"Yes," said Seth casually, "It's usually 5,000, but I convinced the gang to throw in an extra 15 for you guys kicking us out and being dicks."

"We won't pay it!" said a board member.

Seth then snapped his fingers, and Tamara appeared form behind him. Wind blew, as her hair flowed, her eyes a black void and bleeding, her teeth grown sharp, and her limbs grown to unnatural proportions. Everyone except Seth screamed at the sight, and Dean yelled, "WE'LL PAY!! WE'LL PAY!!!!"

Seth then said, "Okay, that's enough."

Tamara disappeared, and Seth said, "We take check or cash."

Dean then said, "Um, Dr. Eaton, it.... seems we were.... wrong about you. We offer you a place back in the university."

Seth looked at Dean, as he took the check, and lifted his hand up, showing his middle finger, saying, "Not in the deepest pits of hell would we rejoin you after what you said about our research."

Seth then walked out, and said, "Come on Tamara."

Outside, Tamara got some people looking at her, and Seth said, "Don't mind them. They're just a bit surprised by this."

"Hey," said Braedey, "We also found out more about this Zuul."

Tamara then got nervous, but no one noticed this.
