Chapter 14: The Ghostbusters?

It had been months since the Gozer battle, and the team was currently on a case chasing after a Ghost.

"This is very dangerous," said Braedey, "I blame myself for this, but we may need to use the seat!"

"The seat?" asked Sean.

"Oh no!!" said Seth, "Last time, it launched me into the wall, then it snapped off, and I was at the receiving end when it malfunctioned from it going in and out without stopping for an hour!"

"This ghost is on the run!" said Braedey, "We have to use the Gunner Seat!"

Braedey pressed a button, and the side door opened, and Seth was pushed out like a gunner.

"Seth! Blast it while Titan uses a Remote Control Trap!"

Seth pulled out his partical thrower, and shot it at the ghost. However, at that moment, the Ghost went in circles, creating a wormhole! It sucked the Ecto-1 inside, and Seth was pulled away from the force.

"I TOLD YOU THIS WAS A BAD IDEA!!!" yelled Seth, as Slimer and Tamara went after him.

Seth flew around, until he hit a surface, as a voice said, "WOAH!! HEY MAN!!"

"Sorry!" said Seth, "I got sucked in by a Class 5 Full Roaming Vapor that creates wormholes."

"Not the weirdest thing I- you."

Seth managed to get a good look at the man he bumped into. He had brown hair, blue eyes, and pale skin. He wore a jumpsuit similar to Seth's, only his name tag said, 'Venkman'.

"YOU'RE THE ONE WHO SLIMED ME AT THE HOTEL!!" he yelled, as he pulled out a partical thrower, pointing at Slimer.

Slimer quickly his behind Seth, as Seth yelled, "WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE AIMING AT MY LITTLE BUDDY LIKE THAT!?!"

"DR. PETER VENKMAN, GHOSTBUSTER OF NEW YORK!!"

"WAIT A MINUTE!!" said Seth, "You're a Ghostbuster?"

"Yeah."

"....... Are you a new recruit?"

"No, why?"

"I'm a Ghostbuster, and I've been working since we started the company."

Peter put away his beam, and looked around.

"Okay, Ray! I know this is some sort of Joke! Come on out!"

Just then, Slimer pulled up Seth's P.K.E meter, and showed it to him.

"Hold on," said Seth, "We got something."

"Is it them?" asked Peter, "Cuz I can take care of them right now."

"No," said Seth, "It's a bit weaker. At least, a class 4 on the Meter here. But a strong Class 4."

Seth lead the way, and Peter followed. Seth looked around, when the P.K.E. When they turned the corner, they saw an opened door, and a ghost emerging from it.

"A class 4 aberration, distinct human form!" said a female voice.

"So, you claim to be a Ghostbuster," whispered Seth, "Then prove it, by helping me trap that thing."

"On it," said Peter.

The two slowly walked forward, and saw three women, who seemed to be recording this.

The lead woman then said, "Um, hello, hi. My name is, Erin Gilbert, Doctor of Partical Physics at Columbia University-"

However, the ghost's face turned skeletal, and spewed ectoplasm all over Erin.

"NOW!!" yelled Seth.

The two men threw their partical beams, and Peter said, "MAYBE THIS WILL MAKE YOU THINK TWICE BEFORE SLIMING A BEAUTIFUL SCIENTIST LIKE HER!!!"

The two wrestled against the Ghost for a bit, and pulled back, making sure she didn't get away.

"TAMARA, GET THE TRAP READY!!!" cried Seth.

"On it!" said Tamara, as she pulled out the trap. It was thrown out under the ghost, and Seth said, "OPENING THE TRAP, NOW!!"

Seth stomped down on the petal, and the ghost was entrapped into the box.

"Well," said Peter, "That proof enough for ya?"

Seth picked up the trap, and said, "It's strange. The P.K.E. meter's reading on this ghost are different from Slimer and Tamara. It's a class 4, but it's power level is almost that of a class 5, like Slimer is."

"Excuse me," said the black haired woman, "Who are you?"

"Us?" asked Seth, "We're the Ghostbusters."
