Gabriel shifts on the bed, with his eyes still tightly closed. He feels something rubbing against his entire left cheek and part of his neck. It feels itchy, almost as if hair were scraping his skin.
And when Gabriel finally opens his eyes, and sees a head full of black hair, he realizes hair is indeed rubbing against him. He carefully begins to move the hair away from his face, and gently lets it fall onto the pillow instead.
It's been such a long time since Gabriel has been in such a situation. Ever since his wife died, more than two years ago, Gabriel hadn't been in bed with a woman. It feels weird, yet he can't say he didn't enjoy last night's events.
Gabriel lies on his back, with Nathalie's body pressed against his. He can't see her face since she's facing the other direction. He can only stare at her bare back while she lies on her side. Her soft breathing fills in the silence of the room.
He grabs her hair once again, and brings it up to his nose as he inhales deeply. The smell is mesmerizing. A mixture of vanilla and honey, and Gabriel thinks he can smell her soft dark hair forever. He begins to twirl a strand of hair onto his index finger, and when she begins to move around, he quickly lets go as he watches her body slowly move away from him.

Nathalie opens her eyes and last night's encounter comes crashing in immediately. She remembers she slept with her boss...
She also remembers how sweet and gentle he was with her. How his mouth felt so warm against her own. And how incredible it felt when his lips and hands roamed her entire body.
She's too afraid to turn around and meet his eyes. She knows he is awake, she can tell by his breathing. Yet, she cannot bring herself to turn her body and face him.
"Nathalie", she hears him call out.
Her body trembles at the sudden voice that invades her ears. His voice sounds deep, deeper than usual, but she knows very well it's Gabriel Agreste who calls her name.
"Nathalie", he says again. "Please turn around and look at me, dear."
His fingertips stroke her shoulder to then slowly move up and down her arm. The sensation causes her body to fill with goosebumps, but she manages to slowly turn her body and face him.
She doesn't bring her eyes up towards his face instead only stares at his bare chest. She can see how it rises, only to descend once again.
Gabriel's fingers finally land under her chin, forcing her to meet his eyes. And when she finally looks into his face, the sight is almost breathtaking.
Gabriel's face looks somewhat puffy, and his eyes are slightly red and drowsy. His hair is messy, and almost a bit frizzy.
He pretty much looks like any regular person would when they come out of their sleep. Except Nathalie thinks this is the most adorable thing she has ever seen. Her heart flutters, wondering how anybody can look so handsome after waking up.
But she suddenly snaps out of her trance and immediately grabs onto the sheets to cover her naked body. Her hands are moving so fast as she desperately tries to cover up. Then she roughly removes her hair from her face, trying to leave the bed and run to the bathroom instead.
"Wait, Nathalie ... please wait. Don't run away from me." Gabriel says in an almost begging voice.
"No, you need to leave this room right now and go back to yours. Someone might notice you spent the night here."
Nathalie gets out of bed and slips the hotel robe on. She begins to collect Gabriel's clothes that are still scattered onto the floor.
Gabriel watches her frantically move around the room. And when she approaches him again to hand him his clothes, Gabriel pulls her back down, making her sit abruptly onto the mattress.
