Y/n pov:
10 years ago I was adopted by the nicest people who I've ever met, but I haven't seen them in like six years because I was sent to a private school in Chigago to learn everything I've missed my life and now I'm back in la for my first day as a cop at the station my mom works at
Angela's pov: I wake up for work because I get to see the new rookies who I will be training because I went back as a teaching officer for my new rookie and Nyla is teaching again too and even nolan is a training officer.
Y/n's pov: I walk in to work and I go walking to my locker and I suddenly see my parents(Wesley and angela talking to Nyla so I quickly run it the changing room when sargeant bradford walked in and says..
Bradford: hey why did you run boot?
Y/n: sorry sir, I just my parents who hadn't seen in almost seven years.
Bradford: oh WoW, hope you don't get your mom as a training officer, I hope for you you get Nolan.
Y/n: I hope so too sir.
Bradford: now go get changed, and take your Time because your are a hour early.
Y/n: okay sir, I will.
Bradford walks to your mom and says...
Lopez: so you spoke to one of the new boots?
Bradford: and umm lopez, she is the only girl so if you have her as rookie, pls don't be mean to her, she already flinched when I raised my voice a little.
Nyla Harper: okay, if I have her, I will also be careful right Angela?
Angela: yeah okay Bradford.
In roll call:
Grey: welcome new rookie, pls introduce yourselves and say your badge numbers.
Y/n: hello I'm officer Lopez, badge number 523114.
Henry: hi I'm officer Nolan badge number 526128.
Alisha: hi I'm officer upton, badge number 528134.
Bradford: so we got two famous last names here and one last name from a cop in Chigago.
Grey: okay, mini nolan, you with Harper, upton with Lopez and mini Lopez with Nolan.
A few minutes later after roll call:
Henry: y/n, good luck with me dad.
Y/n: Alisha, I wish you luck with my mom, and just tell her if you can about me as your best friend since college.
Alisha: yeah thanks, y/n.
Nolan: come on boot let's go.

You two go to the shop and Nolan says..
Nolan: why did you run from Lopez and Harper.
Y/n: Lopez is my mom.

Y/n: yeah, and I actually wanted to surprise her and my dad today after shift.
Nolan: Henry told me that he has a girlfriend, do you know who he is dating?

Nolan: really?
Y/n: yeah but should we go on patrol now.
Nolan: yeah let's go.
After shift:
Henry: hey y/n, how was my dad teaching?
Y/n: went so well, he's just so relax.

Henry: Lopez, meet my girlfriend who my dad is teaching.

Y/n: it's nice to meet you too ma'am.
Angela: and now I feel old.
Wesley: wait, I remember you from somewhere.

Angela: what's your first name?
Y/n: y/n.
Angela: your back from Chigago?!
Y/n: yeah surprise, mom and dad.
