(Wils POV)
Six hours later and Quackity wasn't back. I wonder where he could've gone, he doesn't have an apartment, and he doesn't know anyone.
He'd crawl back to me eventually.
I sat in the kitchen with Tallulah on my lap, and she held my guitar whilst I played for her.
"Daddy, can you do the marceline song?" She looked up at me with a smile spread across her face.
I smiled and nodded, strumming the song gently.
"Marceline.." I began.
Tallulah sung with me. "Is it just you and me, and the wreckage of the world?"
"That must be so confusing for a little girl."
I let her sing the rest, and played the strings for her. My heart melted at her voice, she sounded great, and it was adorable.
"Haven't seen you with the guitar in a while, mate." Techno put his hand my shoulder from behind and I jumped.
"Oh, yeah. Tallulah wanted to play." She jumped from my lap and hugged technos leg as I stood up to face him.
He smiled at me, and looked down at lulah.
"You should play more often, you're good. Anyway, wheres Q? Haven't seen him all day and it's like, 8pm.""Oh, he went for a walk or something. I don't know."
I must've pulled a face, or moved funny, because my brother immediately caught on.
"What happened? That's unlike him to go alone."
"Nothing happened. Why should someone go with him? He's a grown man." I forced a laugh for probably the hundredth time today. Ouch.
"Don't play stupid, tell me what happened. Did you fall out? You didn't break up did you?"
"Break up? Please. We haven't been anything official since revival. We're just, friends or something."
Techno snorted and blew a strand of hair out of his face. "Friends, come on. I'm not stupid, I've known you your whole life. I don't know what's up with you lately , but I know I didn't work my arse off reviving your boyfriend for you to just never talk to him again. Now tell me what happened, or I'll have to tell Tommy."
I groaned. "He got super mad, saying he wasn't going to be able to look after me all the time bla bla bla, being my lifeline bla bla I need this I need that. So I told him I didn't need him, he said I was a narcissist and he barely knew me anymore, so I told him i don't love him, and I used him."
Technoblade started at me like I'd just snapped someone's neck infront of him, his eyes wide, and his brows lowered. He looked mad, why was everyone so mad?
"Tell me you weren't sober when you two had that fight." He whispered.
"No, i was sober."
"Fuck! You've fumbled. And he's right, you were definitely being a narcissist. Go and find him, and apologise, suck his dick or something i don't know, whatever you guys do."
"No. Why would I do that? He's made it clear he wants nothing to do with me, and I couldn't agree more. I'm meeting someone later anyway."
That wasn't a total lie. Well. A little. I had no plans yet, but I know plenty of people that'd be willing to make plans.
"Wilbur, that doesn't just happen. You were so useless without him here, and now you're just leaving him like it's nothing?"
"Useless? I was NOT useless. And it's different, keep your opinion to yourself."
