(Quackity POV)
"You know I'd never hurt you, pumpkin. That's not my intentions at all!" Schlatt laughed as I shoved him angrily.
"You completely embarrassed me today! That wasn't something that needed to be done in public schlatt!!
He gritted his teeth and shoved me back, "So don't wear shitty things in public that make me look bad, are you kidding?! You embarassed me! Everyone in this fucking city thinks you worship that murderer."
"Wilbur was never a murderer!"
"Murderer and a terrorist! He heartlessly killed sapnap, and gaslit you into thinking your own kind killed you!"
"He- he didn't! Sapnap tried to kill him-! And dream did kill me."
"No he didn't."
"Then who did?!"
"WILBUR DID! Are you THAT naive?!"
"OH MY GOD JUST SHUT UP! You have no idea what you're talking about!"
Of course I'd doubted Wilbur's honesty sometimes, but not to this extent. Never, ever to deaths extent.
Schlatt pulled a plate from the kitchen cupboard and threw it to the floor , shattering it into pieces.
"JESUS FUCKING CHRIST! Will you quit having a tantrum and clean this shit up?!"
I left the kitchen and stormed upstairs to the guest bed, burying myself in pillows and blankets.(Authors POV)
The door to the attic closed and Wilbur appeared in the kitchen, smiling. "Gooodddd afternoon family!"
"Oh dear." Techno huffed, and Tommy laughed whilst shoving bread into his mouth.
Phil frowned at the pair and pulled a chair out for Wilbur. "Heya Will."
The brunette rejected the chair, but side hugged Phil. "I can't stay for long, have to go get tallulah from school, then fundy from work, THEN make dinner, then I have work to do."
"Mkay son, well stay outta those casinos!"
"No promises!" He shouted while running out the door with his keys in hand.
Tallulah was 10 now, so she went to primary school. It had taken a lot of convincing for Wilbur to send her there, but fundy and his sister managed it together.
Wilbur hated doing the school run, the pick ups especially. The school was packed full of stable parents who looked at him like he was a criminal, which he technically was, but that's not the point.
He stood in the play area whilst a group of Middle Aged mums and their snobby little girls gossiped about him, and throwing snarky glances his way.
Tallulah ran out of the building and straight to her dad, who scooped her up happily.
"Daddy!" She laughed and hugged him.
"Hello my sweet, how was your day?"
"It was ok."
"Just okay? What happened?"
"Some of the girls don't like me, they said it's weird that I don't have a mommy, and that I speak Spanish more than english."
Wilbur felt his heart ache and he put tallulah back on the floor, but knelt down to her and held her forearms gently. "Don't listen to them, they're not worth your time, are they?"
She shook her head and half smiled.
"I know," Wil began. "Why don't we go and pick up Fundy, and we can get you a milkshake whilst we're there?"
"Yes!"
Wilbur laughed, and walked tallulah to the car where she sat in the front seat playing her favourite songs on the radio.
He drove to the cafe on the edge of the city where fundy worked, to pick him up. Tallulah grabbed her chocolate milkshake from her brothers hand whilst he got into the backseat.
"Hey, dad."
"Hey kiddo! How's your day?"
"It was good, just tired."
"Good to hear, what do you both want for dinner?"
Fundy sat forward and smirked slightly, "I was thinking maybe I could go out with Tommy? Please!"
"I mean- I sort of wanted to eat together today." Wilbur trailed on.
"Ohhh dad please! I'll be back before 8!"
"Arghhhhhh alright fine. But you have to do your chores first."
"Thank you!"
By the time they'd got back, tallulah was nearly asleep. Nearly, not quite. Fundy ran straight to his room and wilbur walked tallulah to the kitchen for some dinner.
^^^
Tallulah was asleep when fundy came home an hour after curfew.
"Where have you been?" Wilbur spoke sternly, locking the front door after his son came in.
"Out with Tommy?"
"Fundy, come here right now!"
The ginger groaned and walked over to his father, who smelt his jumper.
"Have you been smoking?"
"What? No!"
"Don't you dare lie to me Fundy Soot. Have you been smoking?!"
"Dad stop it!"
"Jesus on a fucking cross. Who were you with?"
"Tommy!"
"TOMMY DOESNT SMOKE! Now who were you with?!"
"I was on my own."
Wilbur exhaled slowly attempting to stay calm, "Please tell me you weren't hanging around Las Nevadas' border on your own."
Fundy stayed silent and looked down at his muddy shoes.
"Really fundy?! HOW MANY FUCKING TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU?!"
"I'M SORRY!"
"You're grounded."
"This is so unfair! You do it! Nearly everyone in Las nevadas does it!"
"I'm an adult, and we are in Manburg, not las nevadas. YOU need to set an example for your little sister."
"I HATE YOU! GOD NO WONDER QUACKITY LEFT YOU!"
"GO TO YOUR FUCKING ROOM!"
Fundy ran up the stairs and slammed his bedroom door, leaving his father alone in the kitchen, hurt. He didn't need an apology, though. He loved his kids and forgave them for anything, even before anything had happened.
