Ch 11: bloodstone ✨

''Least some of it, at least.'' Cel scratches the back of his head and looked at Lorline for answers.

''Oh, but of course, you two are human'' she mumbles and bowed her head. ''Apologies for not warning you two'' she spoke. The two looked confused.

Jinwoo hummed as he looked at a strand of yellow jewels and observes it 'definitely not a mana crystal, or any sort of crystal we've found' Jinwoo hummed. This was all so new for him, finding out that there are clans and kings and cities in this other world. It was amazing, sorta gave him guilt for all the creatures he's seen being killed, then the ones he killed in the subway.

''These, gentlemen, are Memory crystals.'' She said as she held a strained of the sparkling rope and hummed ''these are sacred gems that our people take care of. They expose any sort of info of one's past, it lets us see our futures sometimes. We could even speak to our ancestors this way'' she hummed and ours her forehead on the gem. ''most of the time, when we touch it, we are only able to see the past or future when we want to. But since you are human. I guess when you touch them you'd see anyways'' he said looking at the two. 'Such wonders of the other world' Stolas spoke as he looked around and hummed in wonder. 'Yeah, who knew this was here' Cel smiled.

Cel was done translating and smiled brightly ''isn't this amazing?" His eyes sparkled then he accidentally ran into one of the yellow strand then he gasped again.

Jinwoo sighed softly and shook his head slightly ''heh down again'' he mumbles as he looked around. Lorline looked at the two and tilts her head and chuckles softly, those two were close. She always thought humans had co-worker bonds, there were few who shared a great bond like these two. She then went to them and slowly moved the shards away so they could pass through the opening.

'Wonder how much these would make back home' he asked in his head as he looked at Cel.

He was currently at a park, he was holding someone's hand. He turned and sees a beautiful girl. Blonde long hair, he couldn't see her face but she was blushing. ''this date has been amazing'' she smiled happily and leans onto him as they looked into the sunset.

Cel woke up and looked around as he was brought through the openings , Lorline had opened for the two. ''What did I miss?" Cel blinked and looked at the other male. ''You ran into another memory rope'' Jinwoo chuckles and Cel gave a blank face then chuckles. ''guess I'm at the end of my rope" he chuckles. Jinwoo pursed his lips as he pushes him through the place. 'That joke was horrendous' Till they were at the other side and through the exit.

''Thank you'' Cel smiled up at the female Orc, she nods as she turns to walk, holding her now sleeping child in her arms. Jinwoo turns back for a moment and paused, in the middle of the opening stood two figures, one of pure light leaning onto another more sinister and dark figure.

He furrowed his brows and rubbed his eyes to see better, but they were gone in the blink of an eye. 'Might be the trick of the light' he thought and shrugged then looks at strand of white crystals and touches one out of curiosity.
