Ch 14: Tourmaline ✨

''Light please'' Cel called out to anyone ''Gyu- hwan?" Dongsuk asked ''little light please?" Dongsuk asked.

''Yea sure'' the mage nods and formed an orb of light.

''Well this is weird, no beasts to fight?''

''It's awfully dark too''

Cel hummed, he pursed his lips. This own dungeon reminded him of the double dungeon, he could sometimes feel that statues fingers wrapped around his head....squeezing him. Cel paused, he then used magic. His hand was against the Dungeon wall to distribute his mana, to see where they were going.

''What do ya sense?" Dongsuk asked. ''This dungeon seems that it'll be quick, there's a butt load of them near the center. That way'' Cel smiled as he points towards one tunnel entrance. ''Let's go them''

As they walked

''that friend of yours sure knows his stuff'' Jinho comments and smiled ''yea, he is. Gotta be the most reckless...but powerful Hunter I know'' Jinwoo admired. ''Really? C rank doesn't seem that powerful'' Jinho comments but laughs ''but I can't say, I'm a D rank after all'' The younger male chuckles and rubs the back of his head. ''You hold him very high huh?" Jinho grinned. Jinwoo held a warm smile and nods, in his pocket he held onto that weird charm is was awarded, most of him didn't want to leave anywhere without it. He stared at Cel who ever so slightly popped his lips and blinked a few times too often, but Jinwoo noticed it.

They reached an opening of all kinds of tunnels. ''Wait'' Cel stopped and closed his eyes as his eyes widen abit '' looks like you'll get what you wanted guys'' Cel looked at them ''insect types incoming!" he yells. The group held a stance and looked around, they were now able to hear the swarm. ''where?" Gyu-hwan asked ''ABOVE US'' Jinwoo yelled.

As cue they all came in.

Cel walks to Jinwoo and held his sleeve as he looked around, protectively. Jinwoo blinked at that but held a small smile. Old habits die hard then.

''Don't worry Mr sung we will protect you'' Jinho held out his sword.

Cel held out his fists. He had been using them for most of his quests, he rightfully earned his muscles. The rest of the group were fighting. ''They seem rather skilled'' Cel comments as he placed his elbow on Jinwoo's shoulder and looked watched the group. He still didn't let his guard down of course, his eyes were still glowing to get a full scale of the area.

''Yes, they probably have been working together'' Jinwoo comments. Jinho wanted to help but he was told to stay put. Cel glanced to one aide and instantly punched the ants head into the ground. Knocking it out ''shit....forgot I'm not in my own dungeon '' Cel paused then just picked it up and threw the ant away, Jinwoo went ahead and finished it off when it tried coming back.

Then all ants were killed ''people were right about you kid'' Dongsuk said and walked to Cel. Cel blinked and smiled ''thanks'' he grinned.

''Your not like your kind, your one of the good ones'' Dongsuk smiled '''one of the good ones'? Cel raised a brow at the off putting statement. 'Ooooh my origin' Cel thought . ''I don't think he likes foreigners'' Cel whispers to Jinwoo. Jinwoo frowned at that back handed statement, Cel might have not gotten the rude extent of that comment, jinwoo was mad for him. ''Glad to have helped'' Cel shrugged ''Ranger is my job most of the time'' Cel smiled. He liked being complimented for sure even if it didn't seem like an actual nice one.

The group talked among themselves and noticed how some of the ants had bite mark wounds.
''That was so great, did ya see me slice that one ant through the middle?" Jinho smiled ''yeah'' Jinwoo was distracted but Cel smiled ''I did, that was badass'' Cel nods ''did you see me knock that one ant out? Like some sort of superhero, I feel proud'' Cel waved his arms up and down rapidly. Jinho nods ''uh huh, uh huh'' Jinho agrees it was badass.
