Ch 32: Diamond

''What hell of a welcoming'' the tank of the group mumbles.

''If you guys haven't noticed, we are now in a red gate. And we won't be able to get out unless we all die or the gate breaks'' he states.

The other hunters gasped in shock ''damn, I knew something was off'' Cel mumbles and scratches his cheek as he rolled his ankle in the snow and dug a couple of holes in the snow. ''My perception has been, high lately'' he looks at Jinwoo.

''What's a red gate?"" Songyi asked

''a really bad type of gate, leads to the other open world, outside the dungeons we are used to, it's like a gate but you can't leave'' Cel hummed as his hips swayed as he looked around, he was trembling from the cold. Jinwoo noticed and grew close to him, he then reaches into his inventory and takes out one of his sweaters and places it over Cel.

''Oh, man that feels great'' Cel sighed as he puts it on and looked at Jinwoo and smiled ''thanks Jin'' he hummed.

Kim chul went ahead and introduced himself, taking responsibility in this situation
''I can't guarantee, that all of you will come out alive. It'll probably take months. This group is to big and would make defeating the boss challenge so we will form a separate strike team to come with me.'' He barked.

Cel covered his ears and grumbles as he takes out a second sweater and his headphones from his storage. He hummed and closed his eyes.

Then Chul starts asking who wants to join him, but denied anyone C rank or lower.

Cel blinked and huffs ''whaaat? But I have so many tricks I want to try up my sleeve'' Cel whined,

''We are just baggage to you?" A hunter asked, clearly as offended as Cel...kinda.

A girl walks up to Chul ''I'm t]free to join the other group right?" She asks

''Yea whatever'' Chul shrugged then glances at Cel.

Cel whined and stuck out his tongue, Chul sweatdrops. He hummed

'He's cute, but probably will drag us down, he's just a C' Chul observed

Jinwoo glanced at Chul and narrowed his eyes at him, something about Chul staring at Cel itched him the wrong way. But he ignores the feeling.

''I didn't see that arrow coming, you guys aren't what you say you are...are you?" She states looking at the two.

''Mmm wouldn't say that'' Cel shrugged and snickers as he looked around, he closed his eyes and hummed softly. Cel's perception had a boost when he got the title of 'gods prodigy'

Soon enough the strike team had left.

''I have a feeling, they won't last long....and I'm nervous'' Cel turned to the others and frown. ''They'll be fine, we have to focus on ourselves'' one of the hunters mumbles.

Cel mumbles as he went to the others and made sure the others are okay, he smiled seeing most of the others are okay.

The girl kept pestering Jinwoo mostly.

Cel frowned abit and raised a brow
''Cruddy mood?" Songyi asks.

''Hm?" Cel blinked and looked at the younger female. Songyi held a small blush and smirk on her face and giggled. ''You look very displeased'' She comments.

''I'm not displeased, I'm just concerned for him.....he seems to be bothered'' Cel shrugged and sighed ''but I think, maybe I still have a small crush on him'' Cel turns to Songyi and shrugged. Songyi gasped as she looked at Cel and her eyes sparkled ''wow, not many who admit it so quickly'' She gasped as she thought of the many manga and manwha romance tropes, where the character denies they like someone until something traumatic happens.
