Mana AU! prt 1

AU crafted by @circeyoru on tumblr (check out their stories! NOW (if ya want...) it's their AU. I just added Cel and a few of my own ideas

A/N: i as inspired by this AU and i really wanted to write it, more chapters are on their way, pre edited ones at least, imma write then edit after. P.S. not sure how many parts this'll have.

the outrage incident

One of the world of hunters most infamous disaster human kind has ever known.

A phenomenon that left high ranking hunters

Unstable

What the public once idolized and adored

Became nothing but unpredictable balls of power.

Anyone of steady power, scrambled to find a way to figure out what was going on, till they found an answer to their biggest question.

Overflowing mana levels

Mana levels so high, that it renders the human mental and physical being helpless to its clutches.

It was similar to Eternal Sleep

in a way

Just as mana effects the weakest of humans

This phenomenon affected the strongest, and that terrified the public.

As all seemed lost

Til one man had a vision, to soothe the public's worry.

He gave institutions blueprints to build homes for the S rank, he held the instruments to help calm the people, the weaker beings the strong hunters were supposed to protect, however it wasn't always the s rank or A rank hunters fault. Neither are the unsuspecting healers with the same rank all the fighters.

With what this man had granted researchers and scientists, they managed to craft the materials to identify and restrain S rank and even National level hunters.

This material named Runesenite (ROON-SEHN-ITE) or Runes for short.

This correlation they call Emotional Mana (EM)

The Runesnite were melted down to make gauntlets specializing in sustaining national level hunters were as few as those kinds of hunters themselves.

To identify the Outrage, a term they now use form when S rank hunter mana levels reach a peak where they become dangerous. Runesenite was carved down into lenses.

When the levels did reach that dangerous point, a point of uncontrollable release of power and instability of emotion, they were escorted (taken) to EMI.

The Emotional Mana Institution.

A huge facility made of the purest of Runesenite that helps help (capture) and home (restrain) these strong hunters. Carefully crafted. Sooner or later branched out into multiple countries with their own strong S Ranks.

It was a miracle that such material as found and carved into something that limits and restricts a hunters power and movement. The public was thankful for the man who helped them all.

An S rank himself
That was what the public felt weary about, gun hee willing let himself be contained, he was only a messenger after all. Hunters in this facility were retreated like magic beasts themselves, but were talked to like dangerous mental patients. Decorated in thinly woven Rune gauntlets and matching muzzle. Gun Hee go was given the liberty to be only held by  Rune handcuffs.

The material was able to sustain mana that a hunters power first and awakens and keeps, mana ever steady and never changing.

It could only hold so much.
