Two weeks! Two whole weeks and still nothing, I'm running low on cash and I haven't found any means of income.

I glared at the screen of my laptop as I scrolled through the advertisement of some silly game but I exited after finding nothing worth my time.

I tried finding some place like Dante's Cafe but it's a dead end, no vacant position is available in this time of the year.

I clicked the last page for the day, it's so late at night, probably few minutes past midnight I think.

It took a while to load and then I read through, in block letters were written
          CUPID'S PERFECT MATCH

Well ten minutes later and I thought about applying for the game, it's some love game where you and your partner(whoever you're paired with) is shipped off to Hawaii to spend a month together, some other couples are picked as well cos it will be some sort of competition and clearly the winner has a price.

It looks like paying a newly wedded couple to enjoy their honeymoon to me and the whole idea makes me gag but the sum of ten million dollars is too good of an offer to pass by. The cupid game looks too good to be true but it's either the game or me ending up in the streets and dying of hunger, besides I've got nothing to lose anyways.

Fuck it, I'll sign up.

And then I completed the signing up before agreeing to the terms and conditions which I didn't read because it's about three pages long also i'm not a fan of reading such long stuff. Now all I've got to do is wait for an email, if I ever get picked.

I got off the chair before heading for my bed, I can hear Harward's Chihuahua barking and it sure as hell would give me a lot of pleasure to quiet the damn dog.

It kept making whatever annoying sound it's making as I turned in the bed and I groaned with my eyes open and  my jaws clenched.

"Can someone shut that fucking dog up?" I yelled in frustration but the stupid pest kept barking.

Well I'm glad that helped.
(Note the sarcasm)

I closed my eyes and let out a deep sigh, it's definitely going to be a long night.

"Agent 52, you can't escape you're surrounded, give up already" I stared around at all the men dressed in black, this is the only chance I've got at escaping this hell hole.

"Never, you'll have to kill me first" I retorted with my hands holding on to my gun tight.

"You'll be given a second chance at the agency , you don't have to die."He said almost pleadingly and I glared at him. He knows I'll escape anyway, so his words won't change a thing.

"If I stay back I'll die anyway, it doesn't make a difference" my fingers itched to pull the trigger as I aimed the gun at his face, I was surrounded with guns pointed to my head and I don't have the slightest hope of survival but I'm ready to risk it all and fight my way out.

"This is your last chance agent 52" I looked around the barricade formed by the bodies, twelve men to be precised, fully armed and I've got just one round left in my gun.

It's now or never.

"You can kiss my ass" I said almost immediately shooting at the man closest to me in the head and I shot down three more before I had  an opening, I ran for it as fast as I could with guns fired at me, a bullet pierced my shoulder and I grunted as I jumped over the railing of the bridge diving head first into the water.

I jolted and sat up straight in a hurry  hearing someone bang on my door. I groaned running my palm over my face slowly.

"Miss Rollins, get out here, you owe me rent" I could hear the annoying voice of my landlord.
