Cupid's mismatch? I don't think so....

Chapter 12.

"You know you didn't have to run off like you did, couldn't you–" Ace trailed off staring at me and the seven other guys.

"They sent this meathead?" He asked referring to Bitch. And the almost six foot giant with a big gun turned to glare at Ace.

"We've been asked to bring you two in, so we ask that you comply and come with us" Bitch said and I frowned at him.

"Didn't we establish that the statement is a joke?" I asked and his attention turned to me.

"I guess you want this the hard way" He said and brought out a taser from his pocket then set it on the highest voltage.

"I see you brought along toys for us to play with" I smirked and almost immediately he grabs my arm and brings the taser to my neck but I dodged just in time and delivered a punch to his nose but he didn't budge.

I heard a gunshot go off beside me and I see Ace with a smirk and a guy on the floor.

One down, six more to go.

The burly meathead grabs me by my hair and pulls me to his chest bringing the taser to my arm instead but did what normal people wouldn't do, I grabbed his junk and squeezed it so hard he yelled and let off my hair before clutching his jewels with both hand I grabbed the taser and placed it in his neck and he fell to the floor groaning, seems this guy is highly resistant I guess the agency have upgraded their training techniques.

I picked up a gun and pointed it at his head while he kept groaning on the floor.

"Guess you won't be going back Bitch" I said .

"It's Butch" He spat out amidst the groaning.

"Whatever you're gonna die anyways" I said and pulled the trigger. He laid still with his eyes open a bullet in his forehead and a pool of blood slowly forming.

Well that was fast. I turned to see a guy approaching me and I frowned not in the mood to fight any longer, I've got to get out of here before the cops show up.

I shot him in both knees and he yelled before falling to the ground groaning, I walked to him and lodged a bullet into his chest, I shot two more in the head and I dropped to the floor with a thud, Ace shot one down and the last guy suddenly launched at him and they began exchanging punched and slamming each other into walls, I yawned and checked the invisible watch on my wrist.

"Do you mind hurrying up? We don't have all day" I said and Ace turns to look at me but gut punched in the face which broke his nose.

That has definitely got to hurt.

"You need a hand?" I asked as he dodged getting his face sliced by a knife.

"Can you quit distracting me? I'm busy Ari" He said and grabbed the hands of his opponent which held the hilt of the knife and they kept dragging for a while and I suddenly felt bored.

Ok this has gone on for a while.

I just pulled the trigger and the guy dropped dead.

Ace glared at me and I rolled my eyes" Took you long enough slow poke,do you think we've got all day? The damn cops would be here anytime soon, if they aren't at the entrance by now" I said heading to the elevator and pushed a button before heading in,Ace rushed in before the door shut completely.

"What?" I asked suddenly after a while of him staring at me in silence.

"Why did you come back?"

"Same reason you did" I replied sternly indicating the end of discussion but I guess some people don't know when to stop.
