I leap out of bed, excited to be immersed in the adventure of the LARP Steph, Ethan and all of Haven have been planning since the last one not too long ago.
As I dress up in my costume and do my hair and make up, I wonder about the super top secret rehearsal that went on yesterday. I had asked Ryan about it, as he was there, and he said I'd just have to find out what was going to happen. Strange. Hopefully we remain on the original track of the story, as I had been rehearsing things to say in each part.

Ryan was also not permitted to tell me anything about his part, so I'm excited to see who he'll be. He said he has had an upgrade from being the various monsters around the town as he was fit for a new role. Maybe he runs a shop now with a few side quests for Thaynor's crew. That's pretty fun, right? Or what if he's the final boss? Oh gosh, will we have to kill him? I don't think I could do that. But imagine him as a villain. It kind of suits him, they have the best puns. He'll probably take me down by cracking cheesy jokes. No, that can't be it. There isn't a bad bone in his body. He's far too sweet, and just the sight of him might make me weak at the knees- no. Get a hold of yourself Zoe. There's LARPing to be done.
All I need is my character sheet and ... I think I'm set. I leave my apartment with a pep in my step and a lot of excitement.
Fireflies - Cullen Vance
I reach the place I was instructed to go and Thaynor and Alto are already here. T: "Ah, Jade. Glad you could join us on our epic adventure." A:
"Jade the monk, abandoned at a monestry we found her she joins us now Alto and Thaynor the monster hunter."
That was the most bard thing ever and I'm here for it. J: "Thank you, friends, for inviting me! I am honoured to join you." I hold my open hand and fist in front of my face and mash them together, before bowing my head towards both of them, like I've seen martial artists and monks do in movies millions of times. T: "I heard the king was looking for us. Let's go see what he wants."
K: "Thaynor! Thank goodness you're here. We are in desperate need of aid!" T: "King Karor the fourth, what is it that you have called me for?" K: "I was resting on my gracious throne, admiring myself from the many mirrors in the throne room, all pointed at me of course..." Harry the bartender becomes King Karor the fourth. He's surprisingly good at it too. You'd think he would be quieter and calmer, after having chalked him up to be a rather timid natured guy, but he plays the role well. Maybe he was born to act. Or was he acting the whole time and this is his true form? I guess the LARP just brings out everyone's inner Tom Cruise. K: "...when my subjects informed me that their belongings are in danger! The legendary Hrypson is on the prowl again. You are our last hope of catching it. Please hurry!" T: "We'll see how legendary this thing really is. You can count on us Karor." The Hrypson. So far, all we know from that small briefing we got is that it steals things. It wasn't in the comics, so I'm assuming Steph and Ethan created it shortly after the window-breakers appeared. That's what we started calling them since they arrived 4 days ago. By we I mean I, but I'm sure it will catch on. I guess Ethan was inspires by the whole thing. Unfortunately, they didn't tell me how the LARP story ends, so I'm guessing I'll have to wait and see. And confirm the canon ending with the comic when it comes out.
