They were beautiful but they had an air of mystery around them. They all looked the same but different. They all had golden eyes and were extremely pale. But then they were all of a different stature and hair color. Even though I noticed all of this there was one of them that stood out of the five of them. He had bronze hair that looked windblown. Even though he was smaller than the man sitting next to him he was still muscular, and he was the best looking of them all.

I started to make my way over to their table in the corner of the room because I had no where else to sit and I had a strange pull to the boy with the bronze hair. When I reached the table I asked them if I could sit here. They all looked at me like I was a lunatic but the one with the huge muscles laughed at them and said it was fine. As I sat down I introduced myself.

“Hi, I’m Bella.”

“Hey, Bella! I’m Emmet, this is my girlfriend Rosalie,” The muscley guy said pointing to the girl with blonde hair next to him. “This is my pixie of a sister, Alice, and her boyfriend and my brother Jasper,” he said pointing to the shorter girl with short black hair sticking up in all directions the brooding blonde next to her. “And lastly my brother Edward.” As he said Edward’s name he looked up at me. His eyes met mine and had my stomach  in knots. What was going on with me? I barely know this guy and I’m already falling for him. This can’t be---- OH!! I suddenly remember an old legend that I hadn’t thought about in years. It was the legend about your true soul mate. When you found him or her you were supposed to feel knots in your stomach when they made eye contact, electric shocks when they touched you, and when they accepted you as their mate your souls would begin to glow and merge.

After all these years I had finally found my soul mate. I had to tell them what I was immediately, then maybe they would tell me what they were. But I couldn’t tell them here. Not in front of all these humans. Edward interrupted my thoughts by speaking.

“Look, we know you’re not human. What are you?”

I stared at him in shock. His voice was like velvet. But how did they know I wasn’t human? Well they weren’t either, it was obvious. Well to me anyway. But It apparently worked on these clueless humans.

“I realize you want to know what I am and I want to know what you are, but I can’t talk in front of all these humans.”

“Fine. Follow us after school. We’ll talk at our house. Carlisle should be present anyway.”

“Sounds good to me.”

I stood up and left for biology with a smile at them. It turns out that Edward had biology with me and I ended up sitting next to him as it was the only seat open. Biology past slower than my other classes, and I think it was because Edward was staring at me the whole time. I had P.E and had to hold back my strength which was soooo annoying. When the final bell rang I rushed out of the throng of students and made it to my Porsche. I waited for the Cullens to get in their car and I followed them out of the parking lot and onto the highway, where we both took off at a rapid pace way over the speed limit. We made a sudden left turn and drove about two miles down a dirt road before we reached their house. We parked in front of it and their house was HUGE!!! This should be interesting….
