Return Of The Best Friend

Just as the song Clare De Lune finished playing Alice came bouncing in telling us to get ready for school. “Just a moment Alice. We’ll be right down.” Edward replied. We both took quick showers and got dressed for school. I decided to wear dark purple skinny jeans, a black top with purple letters that said don’t mess with the best on it, black ankle boots, and my studded black leather cropped jacket. I walked out of the closet and down to the living room to wait for Edward. He came down the stairs wearing black shorts with deep purple plaid stripes on them, a deep purple top, black sneakers, and a black leather jacket. I laughed at him. 

    “What?” he asked concerned with my reaction.

    “We match.”

    “Alice picked out my outfit.” he turned to Alice disgruntled, as he said the next part. “Did you plan this?”

    Alice giggled. “Of course I did. I couldn’t resist. I saw what she was going to wear and you were just to distracted to notice.”

    “Oh well. Lets just get to school, shall we?” I said before they could get into an argument. With that we all walked out into the garage and I paused. “Who’s cars are we taking?”

    Alice was the one who answered me. “You and Edward are taking your car and the rest of us are taking Edward’s Volvo.” I just nodded my head and we climbed in our cars. Edward grabbed my hand when we were on the road and didn’t let go until we had to get out of the car. I put my hand on the door handle, but before I could open the door Edward opened it for me and helped me out of the car.

   

    “Thank you, Edward.”

    “Your welcome my love.” he said as he smiled his crooked smile at me. He had my hand in his and as we walked towards the others he put his other hand around my waist. The humans were all staring at us. Edward growled under his breathe as we past a group of boys and then laughed.

    “Since I’m pretty sure I know what they’re thinking, why don’t we give them a little show?” Edward looked at me confused. I leaned in and whispered in his ear. He chuckled and gently pulled my lips to his. It started out as a plan to get them to shut there minds up, but it quickly became more intense. I started to kiss back with more passion as did Edward. Emmet coughed and chuckled as we broke apart. We smiled at each other.

   

    “So, how long do you think it will be before that’s all over the school?” I asked with amusement in my voice.

   

    “I think it will take about 5 minutes. What about you guys?” Edward said.

    “I think 3.” this was Emmet.

    “7’ From Rosalie

    “8” said Jasper.

    Alice started to open her mouth but I quickly cut her off. “Alice, you don’t get to guess. It wouldn’t be fair.” Everyone else just chuckled while Alice pouted. Edward and I separated from the group so we could get our schedules changed and quickly went to our first period.

Time Skip

    After school we all raced back home and I took a shortcut that, surprisingly, no one else knew about. It shaved about 2 minutes off the time it took to get home, so Edward and I were waiting for a while. We decided to play the Just Dance on the Wii and I kicked his @$$!!!! We were playing our second song when the others walked in and we were so into it we didn’t even notice till Emmett burst out laughing. We paused the game and turned around. “What…..are…..you guys……doing?!?!!” Emmett finally got out while gasping for breath.
