It's Friday night and Nilah crushed over at Melanie's along with Lia to study again.
Melanie felt so bad after learning about her teachers are badmouthing her for her poor studying.
They aren't wrong though, the girl was only interested in drawing and doodling in every single class. It was her passion. But in order to get into art college she needs to pay attention to the other subjects too.
"Wanna talk about sex? " Lia closed her physics book and looked at the other two girls with big innocent brown eyes.
"Seriously Lia? Is sex the only thing in your mind? " Nilah rolled her eyes still not taking her attention away from her notebook.
"Yeah." Lia shrugged and glanced over at a very focused Melanie sitting on her bed beside Nilah.
"Stop drawing Nini all the time Mel. Are you in love with her or something?" She said causing her talented friend to glare at her with a bearly noticeable blush on her cheeks.
"What can I say? Everyone's in love with me. " Nilah flipped her long black curls hitting Melanie's face with it.
"You're kind of acting like that hot new friend of yours. " Lia muttered and opened up her books again.
"Jin? He is kind of obsessed with himself. Honestly if I had a face like his I'd be too. " Nilah laughed and threw her notes in Melanie's chest earning a glare.
"All the guys are great, I love them already. " she smiled and pulled up her Spongebob knee socks remembering Jimin's excited handsome face when he showed her his Patrick socks.
Nilah had left out the part of her teacher being one of her brother's best friends for obvious reasons.
Lia and Melanie unfortunately sometimes can't keep their mouth shut. Especially Lia, her loud and cheerful personality can take over her whenever she gets too excited making her spill out everything she knows.
It's kid of sad not being able to share secrets with people you feel comfortable with.
After Nilah's spinal cord injury she became a little more closed up and insecure. She even pushed Taehyung away the first couple of months due to her mental health issues.
Her brother was hurt but didn't take it to heart. He tried to understand his precious little sister and didn't pressure her to open up. Nilah was so grateful about her loving sibling that helped her get back on her feet.
Literally.
Nilah's biggest supporter in learning how to walk again was of course no other than Taehyung. He held her hand through every shaky step and picked her up after numerous falls.
Now she has Lia and Melanie too, even if they are nothing compared to her brother they are slowly making their way into Nilah's healing heart.
The two girls are nothing like Nilah's old friends from practice. They seem genuinely interested in their forming friendship and long lasting. Exactly what Nilah longed for all her life.
And then come the new six dorks, Taehyung's best friends. They are a couple of years older but that doesn't mean anything to them. Especially for Jimin, Jungkook and Yoongi.
The boys were kinda shocked by his soft behavior towards the younger girl. That man is mostly grumpy and sleepy every time of the day.
Not to mention Jungkook, her teacher. The man is in a very tight spot right now. Is it lust or is it forming romantic feelings he's starting to develop for one of his best students.
He doesn't know.
And Jungkook always knows.
"You guys want to hang out on Saturday? " Melanie asked and cracked her cramped fingers from drawing too much
