Free Fall

In the sub lobby of Monty Golf, where they devised a plan. "We'll get a good view of the area from the gondola ride at the top, see what we see, then check the floor." Ben informed the others

"Sounds like a plan. Lead the way." Jason agreed, he climbed back into Bonnie's chest cavity.

On their way up the stairs to get to the gondolas, they heard the voice of one of the animatronics, "Run! Run! Run! I will find you."

"At least we know Monty's down there." Jason said

"And at least one of your friends is here." Bonnie replied

The gondolas were upscaled alligators with turrets mounted on the front, they shot little plastic balls, meant for the "Hurricane Hole in One". The gators were attached to a metal track on the ceiling and connected via a steel cable.

The three of them packed into one of the gators, Bonnie having to sidestep into it due to his size. The gondolas started moving and picking up speed. Jason peeked his head from over the railing. His vision into Monty Golf was slightly obscured due to the catwalks above the swamp themed attraction. Even though Monty wasn't officially in the band, he was still pretty popular in his own right. Ben piped up,

"I see Sean!"

Bonnie and Jason looked over to where Ben was pointing to. Sean was wielding a golf club and swinging it at the green alligator animatronic and running across the catwalks, Monty pursuing, undaunted by Sean, like a predator. "We gotta help him." Jason said

"I have an idea. It'll be a little scary but it'll work." Bonnie started

"What is it?" Ben asked

"We jump. On my mark, right there." Bonnie pointed to a section of the catwalks that protruded farther out. It was definitely gonna be scary. But what hasn't been since midnight?

The gondola neared the location and the three of them braced themselves for the jump.

"One…two…three," Bonnie counted, "Mark!"

They jumped, Bonnie first, then Jason followed, he heard Ben jump after and they free falled Bonnie made a loud crash and thud as he hit the catwalks. Jason landed on his side and rolled into a sprint, Ben caught up to him and they raced after Sean. Sean was pinned to the floor, his golf club was the only thing stopping Monty from ripping his face apart. Bonnie tackled Monty, sending both of them free falling again.

Monty broke through the railing and his claws ripped through the cables. The section of catwalk broke from its cables and leaned in mid air, sending the three humans flying. Monty and Bonnie collided with one of the show lights and Monty's leg casings sheared off. Jason landed in a pool of water and nearly got clawed by Monty.

Bonnie and Monty scrambled in the water, each trying their best to get the upper hand on the other. Jason noticed a detail. One so small that others would deemed "insignificant". Monty's glasses came off, and his eyes were exposed. Jason crawled out of the water and Ben helped him up, Sean ran over to them.

"Ben, give me your Fazerblaster." Jason said

"Sure, what're ya gonna do with-"

Jason snagged the Fazerblaster and dove back in. Jason aimed as best as he could, his breath slowly depleting. He fired, and missed. His lungs burned as he lost his breath. He blind fired aiming for Monty. He heard a garbled scream and saw Monty covering his eyes and Bonnie swimming up and away. Jason followed quickly.

He breached the water and breathed heavily. Ben picked up the Fazerblaster, and helped him up. Ben then patted Bonnie on the shoulder. He stood up, water still draining out of him. Sean stood a distance away from Bonnie. Jason, now with his breath caught, put a hand on Sean's shoulder, "It's cool man, Bonnie's on our side."

"Yeah, I get it, I wasn't really trusting at first. But after that, I'm definitely convinced." Ben agreed,

"Well then," Sean started, "I'm not quite sold yet, but thanks for the save."

"We should get moving, I bet he'll be pretty mad when he emerges from the water." Bonnie said, placing a hand on Jason's back.

"He's right." Jason started, "besides, we gotta find the others."

"Lead the way." Sean said

Author's Note:

We're finding more of Jason's friends, seeing how they've been surviving. Two down, four  ore to go. Also Bonnie seems to be keeping his promise so far. But is he truly the "Glam Freddy" of this story? Obviously I know how this'll end but you guys are just gonna have to keep reading.
