He'd been dead for three years. Three. Entire. Years.

Jason usually spent his time wandering through the halls of the Pizzaplex. He saw the same sights and heard the same sounds every time. The shows and attractions didn't dazzle him anymore. He was stuck in the building, he couldn't leave, despite his best efforts.

Some things had changed, like the animatronics. They had different "upgrades" installed within them. Chica had a new voice box to help her sing whenever she would sing, Monty had new claws to help when playing the bass, and Roxy was given new eyes to help her win more races.

Each had their pros and cons. Roxy would sometimes stare and talk to people through walls. One time when wandering down a utility tunnel near Roxy Raceway, Jason had run into the wolf animatronic. Jason didn't expect anything to happen but Roxanne seemed to have seen him. She followed him with her new eyes and even tried to speak to him.

He hated the animatronic but the interaction gave him a little hope that at least someone could see him. But the hope faded when he tried to speak back and she didn't seem to have heard him.

Tonight was going to be like any other night. Jason found himself in the back of Rockstar Row. He followed Freddy as he stepped into a charging station. Freddy's system had crashed when he was on stage performing. The show was cut short and Jason was somewhat happy that something finally happened.

A came out from his right and pressed a button on the new charging stations. Jason stepped out of the way as a child maybe twelve or thirteen years old forced Freddy's chest cavity open. He had a striped blue shirt and light brown shorts. His hair was long and dark brown along with his eyes. He had a worried expression on his face as he climbed into Freddy's stomach hatch and closed it.

Jason ran through a few walls and saw Vanny walking around Rockstar Row. She was prowling, looking for something.

The kid.

Jason ran back to the charging station. He had to help him. He had to make sure Vanny didn't find the child.

Maybe he could do something. Something he had never done before. He had heard the stories of the old establishments and the animatronics there being possessed by dead children. Maybe he could do that.

He stepped forward and put his hand on Freddy's chest. He closed his eyes and focussed on the animatronic in front of him. Then he opened his eyes and he was looking at the glass circle within the charging station. The door opened and he stepped out.

Each of his footsteps clanked as he walked. He looked down at his hands. They were Freddy's hands. Each joint in his fingers whirred as Jason moved them. He did it. Jason had successfully possessed Freddy Fazbear. That was a sentence Jason never thought in a million years he would think.

Jason had managed to make it to Freddy's green room and looked at himself in the mirror. His reflection was Freddy's.

Then it hit him like a brick wall. He felt the presence of a force he encountered three years ago. The figure. Jason scrambled to get him away. "Safe Mode!" Jason yelled instinctively

Freddy shut down. Then booted back up.

He opened his eyes, "Showtime already? I am experiencing a malfunction. And the recharge cycle had not been complete."

"Will you shut up?" The boy said inside Freddy's chest cavity,

"Who said that?" Freddy asked, looking around the room.

"I did, down here."

Freddy looked down. "I still do not see you."

"Okay, you were sleeping so I climbed into your stomach hatch." The boy said,

"My stomach hatch?" Freddy started, "That place is reserved for oversized birthday cakes and pinatas. It is not a safe play area."

The stomach hatch opened and the boy climbed out. Freddy had spun the boy around and scanned the boy. Jason could see Freddy's programming trying to match the boy with a profile. He let go once the procedure was complete, setting him gently on the floor.

"Scanning complete. How odd your guest profile is unknown to me. Who are you?" He asked,

"I-I'm Gregory." Gregory said,

Gregory stood in front of Freddy. He was clearly uncertain about saying his name to the animatronic. Jason saw something in Gregory. Jason saw himself, a lost, scared boy in the same situation he was five years ago.

Unfortunately the doors had closed and Gregory was trapped in the Pizzaplex. Jason was struggling to gain full control of Freddy. It was difficult but he was going to figure it out eventually. But for now he had to focus on protecting Gregory and keeping him away from harm.

He was going to make sure Gregory survives the night. Now that was a promise he intended to keep.

Author's Notes: I wanted to flesh this out a bit more. Granted I doubt anyone thinks this a good story. I wanted it to somehow tie into Security Breach, and I started writing this before Ruin, but just never got it done. Now it's basically done, I think I have one more part left which is the epilogue. I've just been having a bad day and I'm sorry if this authors note comes across as kinda negative. Again I'm sorry. I just hope someone else's day is better because I published a new part of my book. I- Why am I even still writing this?
