"Ugh" my head was pounding.

"We'll look who's finally up! Get up brat!" I heard.

"Five more minutes mom" i ground and tried turning around when I felt a slap on my head.

"Wake up brat! Your getting sold today!!" My attacker I think said.

Suddenly something clicked.

"Excuse me miss? Where am I?" The lady that just walked through the door looks like she wants to slap me from the couch.

I mean I understand what they are but why is she saying them to me?

The room suddenly went black with a little bit of blue. And suddenly I was falling... that's what this feels like... but I'm staying still, no, floating almost...

Is this what the afterlife is? Just... floating around? I don't mind it really, my life was boring any ways. It fits me perfectly that my afterlife is the same.

Although... there's a platform over there looks like it's made of concrete. If I could just reach it...

"Hello Tai Lynn... or should I say Odessa?" A voice said.

As I turned around I saw a person but I was not able to make out their features.

Did he just fucking appear from thin air?

Scared the shit out of me. And I'm still floating on my back!

"Hello mysterious man. May I ask a question?" Let me get on the platform is what I want to say. But I need to know where I am first.

My mom always told me not to speak to strangers but he looks like he knows what's going on in this new world.

He's covered from head to toe in a hood. His hair though.. it's white. Like... Leon.

Although that doesn't mean I will put my guard down entirely. I just need him to answer my questions so I can find my way out of here.

His smile is so white. Too white. It shines through the dark hood he's wearing.

He reached his hand up and somehow even though I was all the way out into the void thing he managed to get me to stop floating  and down to the platform.
