The window of the castle is something I enjoyed looking out of as a kid.
And still do as an adult. It always helped me think, and solve problems. Like:
What went wrong in our empire? Why was it so difficult to run?
The answer was only solved during my grandfathers reign
Majios, Majios were the problem.
Majios in this world are like mini gods. This empire completely worships them.
And that's a problem.
The entire empire... no, the people as well are here solely because of the first king.
Not the majio.
They showed up later.
And wrecked havoc.
I don't understand why our people worship them so much. They destroyed most of the wall we had built in the past around the castle and as well as the wall surrounding the people's town.
Yet they cheered for them.
Not the kings who the empire is literally named after.
The Majio's.
Nobles tried getting the Majio's on the throne.
Saying that they were divine because they were bestowed the gift of God.
Magic.
We, as the kings of this land, had to completely separate everyone and only then could we have peace.
So that's exactly what we did.
Then we became an empire.
The people cheered for the empire, not the majio. The nobles stopped trying to get the majio's on the Throne; and the emperors of this land could expand throughout the continent like we were supposed to.
The nobles are in one area known as the north-side and it consists of only the nobles and knights. Thats surrounded by the second wall.
In a tiny section in the north-side surrounded by the third wall are the knights. The area is known as the knightcham. And it's closer to the castle than the commoners and the nobles in case of trouble.
The commoners are in the south-side of the Isthia Empire, yet their wall surrounds the whole empire. That wall is the fourth and final wall.
The first wall is surrounding the castle and has 2 gates because of security breeches that have happened in the past.
By the Majios.
Oh, how life would've been so much easier without them.
"Your highness?" Someone knocked and entered without me saying come in.
And that could only be one person.
"The majio from before has finished her treatment. She's here to see you, should I send her in?"
Ah, the royal advisor.
Ugh.
"Of course Yue. Thank you."
He is still on my fathers side and will continue to be until his death. I, as the crown prince of Isthia, still don't know as much as Yue does.
