In a dimly lit throne room imitating the one at the grand palace in the empire of Isthia a young woman is kneeling to her queen.

"My lady, my queen... it did not work, I am so sorry. I have failed you." She said.

With white hair with steaks of brown and green eyes she was a majio solider but also something else...

"We might have failed, Elina, but we have the answer, after all we have the documents so all we have to do is keep pushing." The queen took a deep breath before continuing.

"A fearless leader after all always knows wether the team wins or loose, it is never the single person responsibility for there is no I in team. So my dear you did not fail." She said pacing around on the top floor where the throne was.

Elina looked towards her queen amazed at her resilience and wisdom once again.

"Now" the queen continued "explain exactly what went wrong, my dear."

The queen walked down the steps form her golden throne to pour holy water on her citizen, her guard, or her majio.

A tradition of the people of ocean acre.

"There's an issue with the connection to Devon, your highness." Elina told the queen.

"What type of issue?" The queen asked.

The queen walked to her fountain to grab the water pouring from it.

"We know that Devon is from the void my queen so maybe that is why magic does not work on him?"

"Lift your head Elina, and accept my blessing." The queen told her.

Elina lifted her head up high while still kneeling and the queen poured the holy water on Elina's face.

"Nonsense child, even if the Ones themselves came down here our magic would work on them, there is some other interference." The queen said.

"I heard-" Elina started but got cut off by the queen's sharp intake of air.

"Baseless rumors. That is what you heard my child." The queen spoke quickly to try and shut it down, no questions asked.

"Do not involve yourself in gossip, my child, and do not speak things you do not know for certain. I have always taught you this, no?" She continued.

"I understand my queen however, this is not rumors, this is truth." Elina said.

As the water pored down dripping form her forehead to her chest to the leg that was up and finally the floor the queen spoke.

"Hm? The truth you say? Out with it my dear." She waved her hand slightly irritated while Elina was gasping for air.

"There is a majio in the castle, my queen." Elina said once she was able to breath again.

"Oh?" The queen asked, surprised.

It was the way of Isthia, a peace treaty of the sort between ocean acre and Isthia, to send any majio to ocean acre regardless of age, or status.

Even if the crown prince was a majio, he would have had to been sent there.

With that in mind, the queen spoke again.

"This is a form of treason to our peace contract, Elina. Prepare the carriages, for it is time to pay a visit to the emperor."

"Yes my queen" Elina said about to stand up before being pushed back down on her shoulder by the queen.

"I accept you back into the world of majio, Elina Soven." The queen said walking back up to her gold throne.

"Thank you mother" Elina said, getting up once again.
