"Good morning your majesty."
"How are you doing today, your majesty?"
"The agenda for today your majesty is..."
"Majio magic is a curse."
"We need a majio at...."
"You are expected to be at..."
"Help! Please, your majesty"
"I beg you.."I have heard all these phrases before. They come from people who are not innocent, who are innocent, and even the people who are between both.
But one phrase has always stuck out to me.
"You're not dead yet mother?"
My daughter, Elina, always said this to me.
Every morning, without a break, she said that phrase when she greeted me.
At first I was disappointed at how she talked, angry even. But then I realized that if she was asking this question it means she is ready to be queen of the majio's.
And then, I couldn't have been prouder.
"Mother?" Elina asked. I had been asleep since we took off yesterday evening, or should I say letting my eyes rest, so now the sun was glaring through my gold carriage windows, since it was around mid morning.
"I know we are going to the Isthia castle. But, it's not how it used to be..." she trailed off and looked out the window to the path ahead, seeing as she was facing it.
"and of course I dare not to question your judgement but is this the right castle?" She quickly waved her arms back and forth and pointed out the window.
"I do not know yet dear, I am facing the opposite direction." I told her.
She was wearing her usual outfit, a off white blouse that was tucked into leather pants, with her white curly hair and brown highlights sleeked into a ponytail along with a gold belt.
I looked over at Elina and smiled, she looked so much more like her father, the royal consort, day by day and seeing as he was only half majio he had brown and white hair and she got his brown pieces.
She knows I do not like her leaving ocean acre like that. Anyone and everyone that sees her outside, sees her as a male simply because of her clothing choices.
And even though she has her hair done, somewhat, and not pinned to her scalp like usual she still resembles a male.
I was wearing the dress I would wear to the meting with the emperor, a pretty silver dress that had white and Lilac accents, along with long sleeves and a v-shape neck line.
My eyes, that were a shade of light purple that looked almost gray went well with the lilac accents.
I was wearing gold jewelry as well.
I may be going to Isthia, but I will always remember Ocean Acre. My one true home.
"Of course mother." Elina said. Watching me study her.
Of course she doesn't know that the castle has changed. I have only ever let her out of the ocean acre fields if her position, General, was needed at the commoner's wall.
And unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, the castle is not in sight of the commoners until the knightcham seeing as the castle is surrounded by two walls.
Ocean acre is far, far away. We are surrounded by a barrier that no one can see, that is why no one knows we are past the commoner's wall.
Everyone thinks that we are a queendom far out, yet we are close.
It's perfect.
"Did you-" I start to ask.
"Mother I am 17. I know what to wear and what not to wear, I simply put this on to not wrinkle the dress that you had picked out for me on this bumpy carriage ride to Isthia." She cut me off looking ahead to what I assume is the castle.
