Hi! This is the end of my first vampire story. I've loved vampire stories since I was young and I've always wanted to explore some of the dark elements of what it means to be a vampire. I didn't want to write a story about a hero. A hero would have made very different choices than Luke did. Also as a historical fiction writer, I had a lot of fun writing about his past. Thank you to everyone who read and left comments. It really encouraged me to finish the story. And somehow, despite it being a chaotic time in my life, I completed it in less than three months!
