"And then he dropped me off here like nothing happened."

Melody sat, wide eyed bewilderment all over her pretty face, green face mask splattered all over her skin and hair pulled back with a headband with bunny ears on it. Melody had decided we needed to have a slumber party in her trailer and so there we sat, covered in face masks that made our skin tingle and eating fattening food.

"Oh my god, that's so hot. I can't believe you've got Cillian completely enamored with you!" Melody gushed, popping a hot cheeto into her mouth and giggling. I smiled bashfully, hugging a pillow close to my chest. "I scarcely believe it myself. He's so... God, he's just so perfect. He respects me, he's hot, he's manly, and his eyes." I let out a fake moan to which Melody erupted in laughter, throwing a pillow at my face. "You better not get horny here! I am not down to have that kind of slumber party!"

Melody and I giggled for a while, when suddenly she nodded ferociously. "But you're right, the other day he handed me a bottled water and I almost asked him what we were."

This made me spit out the diet coke I started sipping all over her sheets. "Oh my god, (Y/N)!" Melody screeched, jumping backwards and hitting the wall, causing a loud thud to be heard. "Oh shoot! Was that loud?" Melody asked, her voice lowering to a whisper as though that would help anything.

"Melody, I think they heard that in Venezuela." I remarked, to which she began giggle madly again. I was growing to love Melody, she was like a breath of fresh air.

"Okay, okay. So... I need to know the details of that kiss. I mean, just watching it was super hot." Melody finally said, skipping straight to the point. I felt my cheeks flush just from remembering the scene, and I bit my bottom lip, suppressing another stupidly girly giggle. "Well... um... I don't know, we were just acting. It was hot, I guess, but I was more worried about not accidentally biting his tongue than anything." I said, scratching the back of my neck. "Bo-ring!" She wailed in a singsong voice, flopping over to lay on her back on the bed.

"This mask is starting to burn. Can I take it off?" I asked, to which she nodded hurriedly as the two of us rushed to cleanse our faces of the irritating mask. I gasped when I removed the skincare device. "MY SKIN IS RED!" I screamed. Melody jumped five feet in the air. "God, you don't need to yell- Oh wow you're right." She interrupted herself as she peered at my red face. Her face however looked perfectly fine.

"You'll be alright, just wash off the cleanser." She instructed as I anxiously tried to scrub off what had destroyed my complexion. Before long the itchiness wore off but my face was still inflamed. "Let's just go to sleep." Melody finally decided as we both settled down for a good nights sleep, my mind still running rampant with the memories of my night out with Cillian.

I didn't see Cillian for a long time. Wrapping up filming on set left him frantically bustling about to help cast members get help with their work, and occasionally walking past him he'd give me a polite smile or a nod, but it was almost as if our night together hadn't existed.

I felt hurt, and a few times I'd try to strike up conversation, to which he'd reply drily with slight annoyance in his eyebrows. I eventually stopped trying, and apart from our time on set, I never even saw him.

It was time to fly back home, and I felt defeated, played, led on. I clicked on spotify on the plane ride back to my home, and began listening to All Too Well (Ten minute version) by Taylor Swift on repeat.

If we were closer in age, maybe it would've been fine.

I arrived home and walked into my apartment, dropping my stuff and falling down onto my bed. Filming this movie was such an experience, and I looked forward to new opportunities to arise for me to continue to act in bigger and bigger films.

I missed his eyes.

Ding!

I got a text message. I turned over onto my back, picking my phone up and letting the bright screen light up the dimly lit bedroom. I let out a small gasp when I saw that a text was from Cillian.

"Can I see you?"
