Once we were at the hotel, it was quiet. The officers were already off doing their things with the scarlet red carpeted floors as L dragged me to an already darkened room with a small TV in front of the couch. L sat down, pulling me onto his lap as he flipped through the cameras from the locations we were all assigned to visit. I wrapped my hands around him, cuddling close to his chest, feeling the warmth of his body from the night before. That glow is still attached to my body. An officer came behind us, almost making me jump out of my skin.
"So, are you planning to check all the footage we got on the 2nd?" the officer asked, and I nodded my head, enjoying the cuddles.
"That's right. I think it's very likely that Kria and the second Kria made contact there that day, so I want to check all these tapes personally with Y/N." L added, placing the remote right into my palm as the officer watched the TV screen with us, noticing how odd Light was acting during the 2nd.
"But we need to ensure we keep an eye on Light." L turned to Light's father, who spoke in a severe tone.
"Why?" Light's father seemed confused.
"If Light is Kria, they may have already made contact," L declared as he flipped through the tapes, playing with my hair as I lay on his chest. I didn't care who was around or who could see us; it was nice to be loved, and it was nice that L had the confidence to love on me. Light's father just nodded his head in agreement.
"I don't think L even sleeps at night," one of the officers muttered close enough for me and L to hear L let out a low sigh, keeping his attention on the tapes on the screen and ignoring the Officers.
"Yeah, I don't think he's even human," another officer said, feeling the anger boil in his blood. L is Human. He's just a workaholic who never slows down unless made to. He likes to rush his work and ensure the Kria case is his best work. Well, I think he's doing great because I've helped him. I believe in what he's doing and what he plans to do to solve this case. I just rolled my eyes, keeping them plastered on the TV screen, seeing the whole days in the tapes fly by as L started to hand me small pieces of chocolate, holding me close to his chest. L didn't allow the officers to get to him as he rubbed onto my back, gently keeping me closer, never allowing me to move away.
"Are you okay, cherish?" L asked, his words close to my ear as his breath sent chills down my spine.
"Yeah, I'm okay. I'm just trying to watch Light on these tapes. He seems a little off," I spoke as L agreed.
"Yes, I've noticed he's hiding the uneasiness very well. No one in person noticed, but the camera is picking it up." L paused the TV on Light, zooming in and studying his face. I let out a small yawn, laying back more into L's chest. I don't know what real love felt like after my father passed after what I am to believe that Kria took his life, and yet here I am in the arms of the man determined to take out Kria and keep me safe and hold me tightly to love me.

A few days passed, and I sat gently on the couch, watching L speak with Light's father again. The door opened, and Light stepped into the room, nodding his head at me, his eyes tracing over my body.
"Light welcome, just on time. We got a new tape from the other Kria," L said, waving his hand.
"Really? What does it say?" I got off the couch and made my way over to them. The light would reach out for me, so I stepped back, grabbing L's shirt.
"Well...that was fast," Light uttered, glaring at L as L never flitched or moved, keeping his glances locked onto him.
"Yes, we are to believe it's the last one. Play the tape," L said out loud as the tape started to play on the TV. I looked over with the others.
