Denisha stormed into Mona's unit, her frustration evident on her face. "Bonjour," Mona greeted her, to which Denisha replied, "Hey, whore," with a smirk, grabbing a chair to sit close to her bestie. They had their own unique way of speaking to each other, like sisters.

"Can you believe this bitch Paulette had Burrows lounging at my desk when I got in yesterday?" Denisha vented, picking at her acrylic nails, some of the rhinestones missing. "He's talking about coming over tonight, us staying together, and all this crazy shit."

"Gason yo pral gason," Mona said in French, shaking her head.

"I knew you would say that," Denisha replied with a smirk.

"It's true," Mona continued in English. "He will only do what you allow him to do."

"I know you're right, girl. I'm just so lonely. I need a big, strong, chocolate man that can rock my world," Denisha fantasized, a smile spreading across her face.

Mona thumped her on the forehead lightly, bringing her back to reality. "I don't care if he works at Burger King," Denisha said. "At least he will have an income."

They both burst into laughter, the tension easing as they shared a moment of sisterhood. "Okay girl get to work , your inmates will be here in 10 minutes." Denisha said while twisting away. "I still got it girl, watch me walk away". Denisha said in a fancy British tone. Mona laughing while prepping her work.

Mona had been Denisha's rock for years. They had been through thick and thin together, with Mona sticking by Denisha's side even during her tumultuous marriage to her ex-husband. Mona was a pillar of strength, married with three boys of her own, which gave her a unique perspective and the wisdom to navigate Denisha through her own messy marriage.

Despite the challenges they both faced, Denisha and Mona always had each other's backs. They supported each other through the toughest of times, offering a shoulder to cry on, a listening ear, and advice when needed. Their bond was unbreakable, forged through years of friendship and shared experiences.

Mona was more than just a friend to Denisha; she was family. And Denisha was grateful every day for having her in her life. She knew that no matter what life threw her way, Mona would always be there, ready to lend a helping hand and a warm hug.
