The light from the sun rays passing through the window, signalling that it was already morning. Which awakens Y/N from her deep sleep, but as she wake up her entire life has already made an unexpected huge turn. I woke up feeling like I was hit by a truck. Groaning, i sit up while rubbing my eyes. I lift my arms up as I stretch then yawn in unladylike manner. Begrudgingly, I slowly lift myself up from the bed as I headed to my bathroom to wash up.
I lift my face up and look through the mirror. My sight was blurry because of the water, so I dry my face with towel first. Then as I look again I froze.
Panicking, I wipe the mirror with my hands like it can be change by wiping it up(silly me i know🙄), still it didn't work, so I rub my eyes but to no avail it's still there. I thought I was still dreaming so I did what ordinary people will do, I slap myself. Yes, you read it right I slap myself, and bitch it hurt so bad that left a fingerprint on my cheek and the sound bounce in the room.
You might be wondering what I saw in the mirror. Well, let's just say that I saw a young girl looking right back at me. But not just an ordinary young girl, it was like a 2d or 3d some kinda sort of type animation that you can see in anime. She kinda look like me but in the hottest and anime version (sorry I'm just an insecure person😭, my low self esteem cannot. Anyway back to wherever we are).
With my hands holding my red cheek, from slapping myself, I look at the mirror again then to my body (damn look at the curves and that boobs, hehe, anyways😅✌️) then i look around. Bewildered, I ran out the bathroom.
My mind was in turmoil, this place is not my room neither the real world I live my whole life.
Then a thought came through my mind, I had to do what I had to do.
"AHHHHHHH!!!" I scream like I will break a glass or part of the window.
Good choice, right? Not really because as I scream, an old lady barge in my room with a bat in her hands ready to attack someone.
"Where is he Y/N?! Who dare to hurt my precious baby girl!", said the old lady as she look around, about to swing the bat.
That made me stop and look at her shocked. Instinctively, I hide my body with my hands.(Fyi I'm not naked just in sleepwear🙄) "Who are you?!" I gasped, looking at her shocked and with wide eyes.
The old lady raised her eyebrow at me as she lower the bat.
Looking at me adoringly she said, "Good Morning to you too. Are you on drugs dear? I didn't raise you like that?", Shaking her head then looking around checking if something is wrong before turning back at me.
Confused I said, "Huh?"
She come near me and put her hands on my forehead then held my face. "You don't have fever anymore dear, did you hit your head when you fainted, but I swear you didn't and the doctor said it was just a flu nothing more. Are you ok dear?"
I just stand still and looking at her confused.
She gasp upon noticing my reddened cheek, "Oh my......what happened to your cheek? It's swollen. Come on dear.", she hurriedly pull me out of the room and to the kitchen. Where she made me sit in the chair then left me to get a first-aid kit.
She returns holding an ointment, and carefully, she apply it where it was swollen. "What did you do dear?", she say tearing up.
Guilty, I try to assess the situation and just go with the flow.
I'll just try to solve whatever is happening later but right now my heart can't take it seeing this old lady crying.
"Grannie", it just came out my mouth naturally, like it was used to saying it.
"I'm sorry if I made you worry and I---um just woke up from a nightmare, that's why I was disoriented, and accidentally slap myself when a bug flew on my cheek", i said embarrassed as i held her shoulder while looking at her apologitically.
"Oh my poor, granddaughter", as she hug me softly. "Don't do that again ok? You almost gave this old lady a heart attack from worry", she said smiling lovingly as she lean away and stand up. "Come dear, let's have a breakfast you must be starving."
