Chapter 18

You felt drained and your body felt sore. The warmth on your side didn't help because you felt like your on fire.

After unleashing that cursed technique. You felt different like you weren't yourself anymore.

That something was clawing inside you begging to come out.

The warmth on your side vanished but you felt someone was gently shaking you.

A muffled voice begging you to wake up. Worry can be heard on his voice as he tries to wake you up.

Suddenly, something pulled you back before you can wake up and all the feeling vanished as your consciousness got deeper on the back of your mind.

You were venturing a path that seemingly no end or exit......

Without knowing, you were trap inside your own mind.....

Meanwhile.......

You were still unconscious laying on the bed at the Infirmary.

Geto was woken up by your sudden high body temperature.

Geto was confused first on why he was sleeping beside you. But remembers he accidentally fall asleep last night there.

Snapping on his thought, he hear you mumbling something he can't understand or hear properly.

Suddenly you grip his hand hard enough to leave prints.

"Y/N wake up please..." Geto desperately said as he tries to wake you up and take your hand off of him, carefully not wanting to hurt you.

Failing to take your hand off of him, he reached out for his phone in his pocket using his free hand, dialing Shoko's number.

Shoko, who just woke up and about to stand up to head to her bathroom to wash up, was alarmed by her phone ringing.

Begrudgingly, she reach her phone on the table beside her bed then accept the call when she saw it was Geto.

"Hello..." she answered tiredly.

"Shoko! Y/N! In the Infirmary Now!!" Geto's frantic voice comes through her phone. Before she can utter a word the line went off.

She look at the phone confused as she was still half asleep.

As her mind register what Geto just said. A wave of sudden panic consume her. As she worry for your condition.

So she hurriedly wash up and dress before running to where the Infirmary is.

On the way there, she bump on Gojo, who was equally confused as her.

She thought that Geto also called him after ending abruptly his call to her earlier.

"Something's different, there's a surge of energy where Y/N and Geto are." Gojo told Shoko before hurriedly running to the infirmary.

True to what Gojo has said, Shoko has now notice that something is really different. She doesn't know if it's good or bad.

With that in mind, she followed Gojo wanting to know what's going on.

Before they can even got closer to the infirmary, Gojo felt that the energy burst.

A wave of energy hit them paralyzing them in the process, making them fall on their knees.

When they look up at the entrance of the Infirmary, they saw that the door slowly open and out you came.

As you pass by them, they notice you are not yourself. Like you were sleep walking.

You blankly look straight ahead while walking slowly, mumbling something they can't understand or hear properly.

After minutes passed Gojo was the first one to manage his escape from  their paralyzed state. (Since the young Gojo hasn't fully mastered his ability, the time of his recovery will be like other's)

Looking at Shoko, who was also recovering from her paralyze state, nodded at him encouraging him to get you back.

Before Gojo can run after you, Geto who was inside with you in the room  earlier, also recovered but still a bit weak as he stumble out of the door.

Since Geto was just inch away from you when your cursed energy burst.

He was hit directly, almost making him faint on the spot.

A dizzy feeling like someone punch him hard was the after affect.

Gojo look at his friend and hurriedly help him up.

"What happened Suguru?" Gojo help him to stand up.

"I don't know it just happened too fast. We should get to her before something bad happens, alarming the higher ups."

Feeling that Geto was still shaken up from being hit directly.

Gojo told Shoko to look after Geto, who protested that he can manage.

But Gojo just ignore him and let Shoko look after him, before leaving them and chasing after you.
