1 month and 5 days before ☠️☠️☠️

After the visit from Toji, thing's become tough for you. Giving you sleepless nights even nightmares. Your friends notice how disoriented you are but you just brushed it off saying it was nothing.

"Maybe you should rest Y/N you don't look good." Daemon voiced his concern after seeing your state.

"I'm fine Daemon don't worry. Besides I needed this training if I want to protect the people I cared for." You reasoned out while training your aim using your arrow and bow.

Daemon sighed.
"Your granny will be alright. And Toji told you he will be there to watch her. So don't do this to yourself. You should rest since you have an upcoming mission in a few days."

You stop midway from letting go the arrow to turn to Daemon.
"Like I said I'm fine. And I know but still I want this. To be honest, I don't want to rely on others anymore. Also the mission with Geto will not be that eventful." You said before getting back to training and hitting your target with your arrow.

Daemon just shook his head as he watch you continue training.

"You should shut your mouth before I call cops on you for doing this to innocent childrens." You calmly said to the old people. They we're boasting about what they did to the poor children that caused chaos in their village according to them.

"Wh-" the old man was about to retort but stop midway when you look at them with deadly eyes. Making them run out the room scared.

Turning around you look at the back of Geto, who was staring at the scared children behind the bar.

Right now, you we're in the village where Geto rescued the twins, Nanako and Mimiko. Where he also killed all the villagers.

Sighing you walk pass Geto, who look at you confused. Before squatting infront of the cell.

"Hello!" you wave to the kids, who look scared of your sudden presence. You saw how they push further on the wall while hugging each other, in attempt to hide themselves.

Looking around you spotted Daemon who had just arrived and sit beside you.

"Hey! What the-" Daemon was startled when you suddenly picked him up before showing him to the kids.

"TA-DAH! Look at this a colorful kitty!You want to touch it."

The twin look at each other with hesitance before looking back at you and Daemon.

Noticing this, you mindlink Daemon.
"Just play along."

Daemon sighs before doing a cat thing to gain people.
"Meooww Meowwww"

The twins perk up, and they're eye's lit up as it sparks with curiosity. They walk closer to the bars and pet Daemon, who purrs upon contact.

A smile broke out in their lips as they become fascinated with Daemon especially his colorful fur.

"Oh wait...." you remembered something before patting your pocket.

Knowing what kind of mission you will be going. You prepare some delicious treats for the girls.

"Here" Smiling you open your palm to show what you got for them. The girls happily look at you as they saw what's in your palm, which are chocolate bars.

They didn't take it immediately thus they look at you expectantly. Like they're telling you if they should take it now.

"Go on. Take it. This are for you." After saying those word they happily took it and munch on it. The poor kid's was obviously starving, on how thin they are, and how they easily finish the chocolate bar.
