Chapter 22

The stone was definitely doing something to you but you were oblivious to it.

Geto noticed the change in your posture even he was above you.

He tried calling for you but there was no response. 

You weren't even hugging the dragon's hand anymore.

Based on what he can see above, your head is tilted facing the direction of your hand, in which there is something shining.

Oddly enough, Geto felt something is wrong and the stone is somewhat causing it.

He cannot sense anything from it unlike you, but he had a bad feeling about it.

Suddenly, due to his mind being occupied, he didn't notice a branch heading on your way.

Thankfully, the dragon was fast enough to dodge it. The dragon made a sharp turn which made Geto snapped out of his thoughts.

Apologizing to the dragon, he summon some weak curses to act as a shield, until he can come up with a solution on how to exorcise this curse.

Since it's not just any ordinary curse, consuming it will be difficult for him.

Unfortunately, more problems arises, as new branches started emerging, and crawling out of the rubbles on the ground.

This branches started to crawl on each other, creating a massive one.

Geto commanded the rainbow dragon to fly high to avoid the incoming attack, but unfortunately a branch was able to reach for it's tail, stopping it to go any further.

Thus, before anything can be done, the rainbow dragon was  slammed down on the ground. Creating a large amount of dust cloud covering the entire area, which was inside the curtain, obscuring all the visibility.

Geto who was the first one to get up, summon back the rainbow dragon, who has been knocked out, before searching for you.

"Y/N!! *Cough*  Where are you?! Y/N!! *Cough*"

Geto shouted helplessly, as he walk aimlessly in the area covered with dust.

As it begin to clear, he finally saw you hanging upside down on the air. Your whole body was wrapped by the branches.

"Y/N!—" before Geto can do anything, the ground begins to shake. Making him stumble.

The ground looks like it was opening, as the rubbles begin to fall down and creates a big hole.

Geto immediately summon a curse but branches started to attack him and some are acting as shield.

Forbidding him from getting near you or whatever inside the hole in the ground.

You on the other hand was wiggling, trying to get out of the branches that was wrap around you.

You have no idea how you got there. As far as you remember you were saved by Geto and his dragon.

Then suddenly you were on the ground. Feeling the pain spreading across your body.

Then next thing you know, something wrap around your feet pulling you right where you are now. The branches continue to crawl, as it spreads to cover your whole body.

"Su-mmmphh" you shouted when you catch a glimpse of him but was stopped as your mouth was also covered.

You look down when you heard the ground rumbling. A hole was being formed which continue on getting bigger.

You see debris, dirt's and also some weak curses helplessly falling inside the hole.

Then the most terrifying thing happens.
