Chapter 25

It's been weeks after your first mission and the kiss you shared with Geto. After that, not much had happened besides the meeting with Prof Yaga regarding the situation and your cat, Daemon.

Apparently, in order to keep the cat, you and Geto told everything that had happened in that day to Prof Yaga.

You we're anxious when Geto cornered you. You thought he will ask you about why you keep avoiding him but thankfully he didn't and just informed you about the meeting with Prof Yaga. In which you are both called to explain what exactly happened in the mission.

You can't deny the fact that you are still intimidated by Prof Yaga's presence.

Almost throughout the meeting, you stayed quiet besides the time when you needed to add some details that Geto is still unsure of, like your cat is part of your curse technique and the scythe, that you used to defeat the unknown creature you fought in the mission.

You briefly told them about the ring you always wear. Of course, you also told them that you still need time to figure on how to use the ring again.

Before stepping aside, letting Geto handle the rest of the talking. Daemon also participate by showing his abilities to Prof. Yaga to prove your's and Geto's point.

After that, Prof. Yaga stayed silent for a while, looking like he was in deep thoughts. His eyes, behind his dark glasses, darts between you and Daemon assessing whatever situation you guys are into right now.

After a few minutes of silence, Prof. Yaga sighed deeply before turning to you and nodding. Thankfully, he didn't asked you any more questions. And just dismissed you guys, but not before giving you a look that says, "be careful".

"So what's up with you and Geto?" Shoko asked you.

Currently, you both sat under the tree while watching the boy's trained on the school field, with the exception of Gojo, who was summoned for a mission.

Daemon was also nowhere to be found. Since he left suddenly earlier but not before telling you he'll be back. Then leaves without waiting for your response. You're not worried since his capable of taking care of himself.

"Nothing" You answered as you continue watch the boys. Unconsciously, your eyes started following Geto.

Shoko smirked, fully knowing were your attention were.

"Really?" Shoko raising an eyebrow at you.

"Ye--ah" snapping from your trance. You turn your attention to Shoko.
"What made you say that?"

"Observation.." she shrugs as she look back at the boys "I notice something off with the both of you.... You being awkward, then your face flashes red everytime you bump or talk to Geto"

"Then sometimes you avoid him making him do that face" Shoko continue. Chuckling, as she remember what happened the other day when you avoided them by acting like you forget something before running to a different direction.

"What face?" You asked as you tilted your head confused on what she meant.

"That sad longing look of a lovesick puppy" Shoko said teasingly then winking at you making your cheeks blush.
