Chapter 29

Rain pours heavily as people try to find a shed to keep them dry from being drenched by the rain.

But amidst to this, one particular person didn't move nor been fazed even with it's clothes soaked by the rain.

Drench by the rain, you stand up straight after putting the rose in the tombstone as a sign of respect and a farewell.

You stare at the tombstone with a blank face for a long time. The tears from before where already washed up, leaving you with a red eyes and nose. But the rain cover it all up as it continues to pour down heavily from the sky.

As you continue staring at the tombstone, someone approached you from behind.

"We should go." The person spoke  with an umbrella shielding you from the rain and from being drenched further.

Nodding, you look and touched the top of the tombstone for the last time. Before turning around and leaving with the unknown person in a car.

3 Months before the tragedy happened................

"You did a good job out there Haibara!" Gojo exclaimed while ruffling Haibara's hair.

"Oi stop that! You might open his stitches up!" Shoko scolded Gojo who ignores her as he continue pestering the poor boy, who was sitting on his hospital bed after waking up from Gojo slamming the door open loudly.

It's been day's after the mission happened, and Haibara's successful operation. After Professor Yaga gave you all the go signal to visit the boy. You guys didn't waste time and immediately went to the hospital where Haibara is admitted.

"It's nice to see you are doing good, Haibara." Geto said smiling genuinely.

"Yeah, all thanks to Y/N. If it weren't for her I will never be here." Haibara spoke grinning after Gojo stop pestering him.

You we're lost in thought that Nanami had to nudge you, who was beside you, after he noticed that you we're staring on space and not saying anything.

Snapping out of your thought, you look at Nanami apologetically before turning to a grinning Haibara.

"Don't worry about it. I did what I had to do." Smiling slightly at him.

"Yeah! Y/N was cool! Especially, she finishes the curse before I arrived with a minor injury. Although it's a shame I didn't see how she defeated the deity. Still I'm proud of her." Gojo proudly stated, who miraculously appears beside you.

"She might become my female counterpart on being a powerful sorcerer. Right,
Y/N!" He teasingly added while nudging you on the side playfully. In which you just awkwardly smile at this.

The day continue with laughter and stories.

As the bright sky started to become  dark. Somewhere in Tokyo, the place where they called Jujutsu Headquarters.

Unknown people who calls themselves as "The Higher Ups" gather up to have a meeting about the unknown energy that has been suddenly resurfacing in some parts of Tokyo from the past few months.

"Do it quietly and quickly." Higher Ups One said to the man, who was facing them that has his face covered with mask.

"Cleanly too, we don't want trouble arising from this. We have already enough on our plate. So make sure you don't mess up." Higher Ups Two said.

"This must be resolved as fast as possible." Higher Ups Three said.

"No witnesses, kill all that will interfere. But, avoid the Jujutsu Sorcerers as much as possible, especially Gojo Satoru." Higher Ups Four said.

"We must apprehend it quickly before it falls into wrong hands. Eliminate it if needed" Higher Ups Five said before dismissing the unknown man.
