This ship, to me, feels like a Shadamy re color lol. No hate to the ship ofc! I totally respect people who ship this. I know people have issues with the whole robot x organic thing, but I feel like in a series about anthropomorphic animals, it hardly matters lol. This ship is fine, 7/10 in my humble opinion, I just prefer Shadamy!
Amy and Metal's dynamic is one I've always loved and cherished, but not in a romantic sense. Amy and Metal never go out of their way, and in my opinion, that's out of respect. They're both after the same person. For different reasons obviously, but in a way, Amy can relate to him. Amy knows what he wants and what he'll do to achieve it. And she sees herself in that dedication. She may not necessarily like him, but she does recognize and respect his goals, and his determination to achieve them. They cross paths ever so rarely, but it's never in hostility. When they do fight, it's out of a necessity than a desire to.
So uh yeah mini rant there I just love my platonic metamy they are kind of friends goals let's be honest
