I've always seen this as a one-sided relationship. Shard clings onto anyone who treats him right thanks to uh y'know trauma, and while Nicole likes him as a close friend, she doesn't see him the same way. Lesbian Nicole is my greatest headcanon anyway so uhhh maybe that's my bias speaking hehe haha.............. these guys are plenty cute though!! 7/10 for them cuties.
