"Good morning, beta," Mitali said, serving breakfast to Abhimanyu.
"Mom, my body is aching," Kriti said as she approached the dining area.
"What exactly did you do?" Samarth asked sarcastically.
"Mom, someone was mentioning their body is aching too," Lakshay said, glancing at Samarth.
"Thank you, bhai," Kriti said, giving Samarth a fake smile.
"Have you two started already?" Surekha said, playfully hitting Samarth on the shoulder.
"Take this," Mitali said, handing medicine to Kriti and Samarth.
"Okay, can we now talk about the engagement?" Mohit asked.
"Yes, we have so much to prepare," Mitali said, taking a seat.
"Especially my dress and my jewelry," Kriti said, growing worried.
"Why are you worried? Annaya is there, right? She will take care of everything," Disha said.
As soon as Abhimanyu heard Annaya's name, he was lost in thought, and a smile spread across his face.
"Hmm, you're right," Bhabhi Kriti agreed.
"Ha, Annaya is a very sweet and pure girl. I really loved how she warded off the evil eye," Mitali said.
"Ha, such a lovely child," Mohit said with a smile.
"And regarding the invitations, Lakshay and Abhimanyu, you both will handle that," Mohit instructed.
"Okay, Bada Papa, bhai are you free?" Lakshay asked while Abhimanyu was lost in his thoughts.
Lakshay repeated, receiving no response.
Everyone's gaze turned towards Abhimanyu.
"Abhimanyu!" Suresh called out loudly.
"Ji Dada Ji Abhimanyu replied.
what happened? Lakshay has called you three times, but you didn't respond. Is everything alright?" Suresh inquired, concern evident in his voice.
"Is everything fine, beta?" Mohit asked, placing his hand on Abhimanyu's shoulder.
"Yes, yes, everything is fine. Don't worry; I was just thinking about the business," Abhimanyu replied.
"Bhai, still business?" Kriti said, her tone tinged with sadness.
"Don't be sad; your engagement preparations will be done just as you wanted," Abhimanyu said, side-hugging Kriti to comfort her.
"Time is short, so let's get to work quickly," Mitali urged.
Meanwhile, at the Rajput mansion, everyone was enjoying breakfast in the garden, except for the youngsters. Soon after, Lakshay and Abhimanyu arrived.
