Goa series

Abhimanyu POV:

As the clock struck six, my eyes opened to the beautiful face resting on my chest. She was sleeping peacefully, and I felt like the luckiest man in the world. Gently, I brushed away the strands of hair that disturbed her slumber, and my gaze fell upon the mole on her upper lip, tempting me to kiss her. But I refrained; it wasn't the right time.

I knew that if she awoke and saw me beside her, it would become awkward. She might think I was seeking answers about last night's events. She tends to overthink, and all night, I couldn't sleep. Every time I closed my eyes, her crying face and the distress from yesterday haunted me, breaking my heart. I don't recall when I finally fell asleep.

Carefully, I made sure she was comfortable and tucked the comforter around her before retreating to my room. I headed straight for the bathroom and, after ten minutes, emerged in my gym attire. I went to the gym for an intense workout session.

As I returned to my room to take a shower and came back wearing black trousers, I was startled to see Shouraya sitting on the bed checking his phone, while Sahil and Varun were lying on it.

I asked them why they were here since they're not early risers. Shouraya explained about that gangster Nisha had gotten her brother imprisoned for life after he raped a girl. However, he died by suicide two days later. Since then, that gangster has been targeting every Rajput, especially Annaya and Nisha, as they supported the girl's family in filing the case.

The gangster first attacked Sneha and nearly killed her, but the police intervened, and he was sentenced to life. Somehow, he was released on bail and now lives peacefully, still seeking opportunities to harm the Rajput's. Shouraya then received a call from the commissioner that the gangster was in Goa, so we all went to the Goa police and stayed there until one. Varun mentioned we had a meeting to attend. Unfortunately, I left my second mobile, which I had bought for Annaya.

Yes, I bought it to store her photos and her number. Now, I plan to speak with her directly and meet her.

Annaya POV:

I woke up with a heavy head and sore eyes, as usual, but what really struck me was Abhimanyu's absence. I rose from bed, thinking he might be in the bathroom, but he wasn't there, nor was he in his room or the gym. After checking the home gym and his room to no avail, I returned to my room, sat on the bed hugging my knees, and remembered everything. When Abhimanyu went to investigate, I followed, which triggered a rapid heartbeat and erratic breathing as I relived a horror from nine years ago—parents lying half-dead with their children calling out to them.

It was a scene I wished no one, especially Abhimanyu, to witness my condition worsened, I didn't want to be apart from him, so I asked him to sleep beside me. That night, I had the best sleep ever and felt like the luckiest girl to be with Abhimanyu.

I considered calling him to ask where he was, but he didn't answer. I tried again, yet there was no response; he never ignores my calls. I'm unsure what he thinks of me, and if he questions why I have panic attacks, it's not that I'm unwilling to tell him, but deep down, I fear losing Abhimanyu.

After much thought, I decided to tell him everything, whatever the outcome, I would accept it. I freshened up, changed into my gym clothes, grabbed my yoga mat, and went to the balcony to do yoga. It truly helps me; I needed to calm myself. After an hour, I returned inside, took a long shower, and prepared for the day.
