Morning sunrays streamed through the curtains as Ananya's eyes opened slowly. She took in her surroundings and felt a weight on her hand. She saw Abhimanyu sleeping in an uncomfortable position, holding her hand.

Then, she remembered everything that had happened the night before, from the kidnapping to Arohi's arguments. Her eyes welled up with emotion as she recalled every word Arohi had said, each one piercing her heart.

She didn't want to become emotional, especially in front of Abhimanyu, who was already suffering a lot because of her. But she couldn't control her emotions and slowly tried to withdraw her hand from his grip.

She was successful, and she gently removed the mattress. As she was about to get up, she felt a sharp pain and sat back down. The movement disturbed Abhimanyu's sleep, and he opened his eyes to see his girl.

"Bacha, what happened? Are you okay? Did you get hurt? Should I call the doctor?" he bombarded her with questions but stopped as he saw tears in her eyes.

"Bacha, what happened?" he asked, sitting beside her on the bed. He took her into a hug, and now, unable to control herself in the safety of his arms, she started crying, releasing all the emotional turmoil she had been holding inside.

Abhimanyu didn't stop her, knowing how much she needed this. He caressed her hair while tears also escaped his eyes, as he couldn't bear to see his Jaan in pain, which was stabbing at his heart.

"Abhi, why did it happen? Why me?" Annaya questioned as tears left her eyes. "You know, I was so happy seeing Arohi after so many years. I wanted to hug her, talk with her, but why? Why did it happen? I can't take her hate, I can't," she added with hiccups.

"Abhi, you know, when he kidnapped me and touched me inappropriately, it didn't hurt me that much. But Arohi's every word hurt me. I feel like dying," she was saying but Abhimanyu captured her lips.

"And the kiss was soothing, giving peace to both of them. 'Never ever try to talk about dying,' Abhimanyu said, cupping her face as they broke the kiss. 'Now listen to me. Whatever happened yesterday has happened, and now it's past. Your brainless sister can't understand anything, and don't dare to think about what she said because it's useless.

As your mother said, not only your dad but you also suffered. So now stop, and I don't want to repeat all this because I already said that whatever happened was written by God. So now stop thinking and crying,' he said, wiping the tear that left her eyes."

"And now, enough of crying. If you cry, I will fuck... you then and there," he said in his threatening tone. She chuckled, shaking her head.

"You are laughing?" he asked in an angry voice.

"Stop showing your fake anger.  And this voice and whatever goes on your romance and these flirty lines will not stop," she said, chuckling.

"Leave me, I'm angry with you," he said, moving some distance from her.

"Seriously? Abhi, you are angry?" she asked with innocent eyes.

"If anyone sees these innocent eyes and cute pout, they will melt. How am I getting affected? But no, Abhimanyu," he muttered to himself, controlling his emotions.

"Yes," he said and turned his face to the other side.

"Okay," she said, getting up and sitting on his lap, confusing and shocking him. "Now also, you are angry?" she asked, taking his hand and placing it on her waist.

"Oh my God, this girl," he muttered. "Yes," he said.

"And she kissed his right cheek. 'Now?' she asked.
