Author POV:

Morning at Khanna Mansion. As usual, Abhimanyu woke up at his time, and the first thing he did was make a call to Annaya, but she did not answer. He thought she must be sleeping, so he went to the restroom. After 15 minutes, he came out in his gym wear and checked his phone, but there was no call or message from her. He dialed her number once again and headed towards the home gym, but again she did not answer.

Abhimanyu started his exercises, but today, his mind and heart were not there. He left his exercise in between and headed towards his room. He tossed the phone on the bed and went straight to the closet. In five minutes, he came out in a black t-shirt and joggers, took his phone, and headed down.

He took the keys from the driver and told him, "I will drive," then sat and drove.

"Jaan, answer my call please," he said and accelerated the speed, but suddenly he stopped and put the brakes, then came out. He ran as fast as he could and took Annaya in a hug. She got startled, but when she saw him, she relaxed, and they stayed like that for a minute.

"Abhimanyu, what happened?" Annaya asked and broke the hug.

"Jaan, please stay like this," he said and took her in a hug again. They stayed like that, and as they were in the garden, all the people...

They were staring at them, but when they saw the guards with guns, they went back to their work. She and Abhimanyu were just in each other's arms and were loving it.

"You know I got scared," Abhimanyu said as they broke the hug.

"Scared for what, Abhimanyu?" Annaya asked.

"Wait, why are you calling me Abhimanyu instead of Abhi?" he asked.

"It does not matter, na, if I call you Abhimanyu or Abhi. Both are the same only," she replied.

"No, both are not the same. When you call me Abhimanyu, it looks very strange. But when you call me Abhi, it looks very peaceful to my heart and ears," he said and took her hand, keeping it near his heart.

"You are seriously thinking too much. Leave my hand," she said.

"What happened to you?" he asked, as for the first time, she was looking different.

"What will happen to me? I'm fine," she said and picked up the phone and water bottle from the grass.

"Acha, now I'm going, as my walk is finished," she said.

"Ek minute, I'm here, and you are saying you are going?" he asked.

"Yeah, Abhimanyu, what should I do? You are here for a walk, na, so do it. I have completed mine, so I will be leaving. I have important work at the boutique," she said in a pissed tone.

"Jaan, what happened to you? Is everything fine?" he asked, cupping her cheeks.

"Yeah, everything is fine. I told you already. I don't want to answer anything. I'm going," she said and left without listening to Abhimanyu. In his eyes, tears formed—not of love but of hurt which he was feeling. He also went, sat in the car, and drove.

He came to his penthouse, went to his gym, and started beating the punching bag with strong punches. He was doing it with hurt in his eyes and Annaya's words stabbing his heart. As he was beating the bag very badly, his knuckles started getting red, and blood began oozing out. But he was not going to stop, as Annaya's words were ringing in his ears, and today he was feeling very hurt because of her. Finally, he stopped as Shouraya held his punch.

"Leave it, Shouraya," he said in a death-threatening voice.

"Are you mad or what? See what you did to your hand! Blood is oozing out. Stop it," Shouraya said.
