Berlin was an absolute nightmare to drive in and Benito had picked the Grand Hyatt Hotel; it was located directly in the middle of the city. I was very glad, when I could park the Audi in front of the hotel for the check in. The receptionist handed us our key cards, then I asked if the had a parking lot just for guests. She nodded and told me to hand the keys to the concierge in front of the entrance.

"The Maybach suite is on the top floor. An employee is going to bring the luggage up into your room. Breakfast starts at seven o'clock, either in our restaurant or in your room, just let me know now if you'd like to reserve a table for tomorrow morning." the woman behind the desk said friendly.

"We'll go with room service, please." Benito told her. While he was talking to the woman, I started looking around. The hotel was by far the nicest I had ever been to. After a few more moments, Benito thanked the lady. It didn't take long until the concierge that was supposed to bring our bags to the room asked for the car keys. I handed them to him, then Benito and I walked over to the elevator.

"Holy shit!" I exclaimed when we entered the room about five minutes later.

"You like it?" Benito asked from behind me. I was looking around, exploring both rooms excitedly. It was the first time within the four months of knowing him that I realised how much luxury he could actually afford.

"There's only one bed." I said as I reached the bedroom. Benito walked up behind me.

"Oh, I didn't think about that. I'm sorry." he responded, sounding disappointed.

"No, it's fine. The bed's big enough for both of us." I gave back.

One hour later, Benito and I were sitting in one of the subways on our way to the KaDeWe - the biggest mall Berlin had to offer. He had wanted to go there because Benito apparently loved shopping. I had agreed because I loved to see him happy, even though I didn't like running around and looking for stuff I would definitely not need.

"Why do you want to go to that mall?" I asked him curiously.

"You need a dress for tomorrow." he responded. I looked at him with furrowed eyebrows. As far as I knew we didn't have anything fancy planned, just the usual sightseeing stuff.

"Tomorrow? What are we doing tomorrow?" I questioned confused.

"Well, you told me that David never took you on an actual date, so I'm doing that." he gave back like it was the morst normal thing on the planet. I stared at him in disbelief and started shaking my head.

"So you're asking me on a date?" I wanted to know just to be sure about it.

"Exactamente." (Exactly.) he answered calmly. I could feel myself blush. Around 10 minutes later, we stepped out of the subway station. The mall was directly in front of us and even though I had been there before, it was overwhelming every single time.

"Which store do you wanna go to first?" I asked as we were walking up to the entrance.

"You will see." Benito told me. Since he seemed to have a plan, I let him lead me through the huge building. At first, we were just looking around but then he grabbed my hand and led me directly into a shop.

"Does it have to be Louis Vuitton?" I asked and frowned. Of course, it had to be a luxury brand.

"Yes, anything else would be insulting for you." he responded and smiled down at me. Immediately an employee approached us.

"Guten Tag, kann ich Ihnen helfen?" (Good day, can I help you?) the young man asked friendly. Even though Benito didn't speak German, he managed to figure out what the guy had said.
