Charlie:
I am packing my things. I told you that I am moving in, right?

Me:
Don't depend on Babe so much. He will kick you out again whenever you have a minor inconvenience.

Charlie:
He has changed. He is not like before.

Me:
Hmm... Just remember that you can come here whenever you want. I will be here for you, no matter what.

Charlie:
Woah! Are you talking like a big boy already? Is it because you want to show others that you can be depended upon?

I looked at Charlie and sighed.

I held his hands and made him sit on the sofa beside me.

Me:
Tell me about... Uncle Alan

Charlie smiled at me, teasing. 

Charlie:
Mmmmhmm... So you both are getting serious now?

Me:
I... want to know about the people at the garage.

Charlie:
Then let's start with Nick or Sonic, then.

Me:
Fine! Ugh! I want to know about Uncle Alan.

Charlie:
He is someone that everyone in the garage looks upon. He learned a lot about life when he was younger. So he seems to be more mature, added to his age. But something that is strange to me is that... Though Alan shares everything with Babe, he hasn't said anything about his childhood or how he started this journey. It seems like he has a dark past behind it. But I may be wrong as well.

Me:
I will take care of it. By the way... I have something very important to tell you.

Charlie:
What's that? Is something wrong??

Me:
Kind of. Last evening, when you were training, I pushed the tools box down and Alan took me to his room.

Charlie regained his teasing look. 

Charlie:
What happened next?

He lowered his voice and moved closer to me.

Me:
Aish! It is not like that! 

Charlie:
What happened then?

Me:
I touched him and I...saw his future.

I said, not knowing how to express it. Because it is a mixed feeling.

Charlie's eyes brightened. 

Charlie:
Oh! What did you see?

He was so excited to hear what I was about to say. But little did he know...

The actual glimpse that Jeff visualized:
Alan and I were in his swimming pool, naked. He kissed me and I did kiss him back happily. I stayed over at his place which was far away in the jungle. But then... in a blink of an eye, oh so quick... The pool was filled with red, like a sinful trick. Blood flowing, like a river. My heart sank in a scream. My eyes widened as I saw Alan close his eyes for a mere second, unable to differentiate if it was just a blink or the end. The next moment I closed my eyes, I saw Tony coming with a cold despair. He took what I held so dear, leaving me nothing but fear. 

But I am scared to tell this to anyone, including Charlie. I don't know if I can get anything from telling this to anyone. So I came up with an idea that I have to betray my heart for.

I sighed and looked down, trying hard to make Charlie believe what I was about to write up.

Me:
Alan and I won't make it. It is nothing serious to say. He will end up with a new person whom he hasn't met yet. But, I also saw Tony coming back from prison to take revenge on PitPro. You have to stay by Babe's side. We should not make the same mistake twice.

Charlie:
What? Seriously? Is Babe safe?

Me:
I just saw Uncle Alan's, not Babe's.

Charlie:
Right. Sorry. I hope everything ends well this time. Babe is already traumatized because of Tony just like us. Let's stay alert from now. 

Me:
Hmm.. Right. But this time, he is also against Uncle Alan. We have more responsibilities this time.

Charlie:
Are you going to tell me about this to Alan?

Me:
What? Of course not!

Charlie:
So how will you keep him protected?

Me:
We work in the same place. He is always clingy to me anyway. So no worries. But I won't tell this to him at any cost.

Charlie:
Don't you trust him already? He also knows about every special talent of the Alphas from our garage.

Me:
Of course, I trust him. I was already planning to tell him. But what if he can connect the dots and come to know that we both are brothers?

Charlie:
Does it still matter? Everyone in the garage speaks proudly of you. They wouldn't mind you working there. And Alan was the one who reviewed your resume and tested you. Didn't he?

Me:
That makes sense. But I will tell him when I feel right.

Charlie:
Okay. Tell me when you do. So I can also tell Babe about us. He is already becoming moody whenever I speak with you.

Me:
Then go ahead and tell him. I don't mind Babe knowing this if he wouldn't tell anyone else.

Charlie:
No need to rush. We can go according to your wish. And also, I like seeing him moody like that. I have it under my control. Don't worry.

Charlie sounded assuring.

I nodded back. 

He smiled and continued packing his things to leave.

I told him to leave our pictures here, so Babe wouldn't know about the back story and Charlie agreed.

By the way! Do you guys know that Pavel posted about Pit Babe season 2 on his Instagram?! I haven't read the comic/novel, so I was shocked to see Way still being there. I hope I can finish this story before its release so you guys won't get confused between their in-drama plot with their in-story plot! 😓😓
