ABO DICKTIONARY

ABO theme starts with the werewolves-vampire thingy and it was adapted to write books, mostly L AND G in LGBTQ+ themes in the book world. But, then it was later changed and applied to human beings as well. This story contains humans only and not werewolves or vampires.

ABO INCLUDING ENIGMAS are of four types.

Enigma:

An enigma is the Alpha of all the Alphas. They are the most dominant out of all the types. They can never be submitted to anyone. They are the most possessive and territorial. Territorial means that they don't let others enter their circle. They were believed to be as rare as seeing a vampire in real life because of the rarity. It is like the hybrid type. Some people in ABO do not even think that they can exist. But when they do, they emit their characteristics as they behave with their partners. Other's pheromones cannot affect them. They cannot be wooed by anyone's pheromones. They are always aggressive to those he doesn't like. Their command cannot and shouldn't be taken for granted. They can impregnate anyone even though they don't enter the rutting phase.

Alpha:

They are the second most dominant type. All alphas are not dominant. But generally, alphas emit signs of dominance. But they can never overshine the Enigmas no matter how built they are. They are territorial as well, but not as much as Enigmas. They get into ruts and they can knot. They can impregnate others -Betas and Omegas. They are mostly attracted towards Omegas, but sometimes, the Enigma's irresectable charisma attracts them as well. They can be impregnated by Enigmas and they can impregnate Betas and Omegas as well. They croon and growl. Crooning is the process of calming down their mates. The growling process happens when the alphas feel threatened/ someone hurts their mates.

Beta:

They are like normal human beings. They do not have any characteristics that stand out in ABO. But they are further divided into dominant Betas and submissive Betas. They belong the either of the characteristics. They can impregnate fellow Betas and can also give birth. Betas are not mainly characterized in this story. They are like the NPCs usually.

Omega:

They are the most submissive types in the ABO genre. They are the weakest and the most fertile of them all. They release scents/pheromones when they are around their partner or someone who has an interest in them. Omegas enter into heat just like how girls enter periods once a month and it usually lasts from 3-7 days. While in heat, they become very vulnerable and needy most of the time. They want their partners to stay by their side during this phase. But it can be managed if they are not together as well. They can be impregnated by anyone but they cannot impregnate anyone else. 

Other terminologies:

Types- Enigmas, Alphas, Betas and Omegas.

Knot- When Enigmas or Alphas grow a bulge on their 🐓when erect. While knotting, they remain inside their partner to increase the chance of their partner's pregnancy. While Enigmas mate with Alphas, Enigmas go through this process. While in this process, the partners involved go through a lot of pleasure and pain at the same time. This process lasts anywhere between 30 minutes or more, depending on the stamina and endurance of the partners. By the end of this process, the 🐓 goes back to the normal size and posture.

Rut- Enigmas and Alphas go through the rut. When in a rut, they become more moody and needy for their partners. They don't crave for physical intimacy, but they seek attention from their mate. Enigmas crave for even more attention and love. This also comes once a month and it can be irregular as well.

Breeding- Dom ones tend to crave for breeding their submissive mates. So they have &ex, usually under a full moon's day, where their hormones arouse. 

Marking- Dom ones mark their mates in order to show others that they are taken. This is sometimes done due to possessiveness, but it can also be done during the heat of the moment just like giving a hickey. The dom ones mark their mates by accident as well. This process is done by biting and leaving a sign of their bite mark(s). It is usually done in areas where the sweat glands are present. 

Sweat glands are present around the neck region, wrists, chest region, around the belly button and the soles of the feet. 

Heat- every submissive ones goes through heat once a month, lasting for around 3 days to a week. (may differ). During this phase, the Omegas are very vulnerable and moody. They crave for &ex from their mates. They go through extreme pain during this phase that they even struggle to walk around. Omegas without mates are forced to take suppressants to lessen their pain. Omegas with mates tend to have &ex, usually initiated by their mates, because the pheromones released by Omegas during heat are extreme... making a call for their partner to initiate intimacy. Most of the times, Omegas enjoy the pain during the heat when with their mate.

Suppressants - It is available in pills as well as perfumes. This will help the sub to stay away from the pain for a certain period, depending on its durability. Omegas without mates will always keep their suppressants handy. It can also be used as a birth control pill.

Pups- Children who are yet to be identified as Enigmas/ Alphas/ Betas or Omegas.

Slick- Natural lubricant for Omegas that they produce in their 🐓 for smoother &ex. Omegas in heat produce more slickness. Slicks aren't considered gross. They are discussed among their peers casually.

Nesting/ nest- Just like how birds incubate their eggs, Omegas enter this phase to keep themselves comfortable. While in this position, sub ones feel like they are the most comfortable.
