Just be patient with me. I am trying to change. Everything here is so new to me. I didn't know this would hurt you this much. But regardless, it is my mistake.

Alan:
I am not trying to blame you! I am just asking you what made you think I am not worth talking about your family. Is it because you don't trust me? Or is there something bothering you? I just want to know about it.

Me:
I am going through something. But, you wouldn't understand that.

Alan:
Because I am not an alpha, right?

Me:
It's not how it works. I will tell you when the time is right.

Alan:
And when will it be? After I discover it myself?

I sighed.

Me:
If I tell you, you would hate me.

Alan:
What if I decided to stick to you forever?

Me:
That will make it only worse.

Alan:
Just tell me one thing. Are you going through it because of me?

Me:
It is not you. It is me.

Alan:

Me:
I am afraid to tell this to you.

Alan:
Don't be. I will take care of it, no matter what.

Me:

Alan:
How can you be so sure? Can you predict the future or what?

Me:

Alan:

He was looking at me, but he wasn't surprised by it. He seemed only confused.

Me:
You know special Alphas have a special talent, right?

Alan nodded.

Me:
Likewise, I can predict the future by touching them.

Alan:
So what? Did you see something bad?

I nodded. The tears traced a path down my cheeks, revealing my hopelessness. My lips quivered and my chin trembled. Alan couldn't do anything but embrace me in his arms. I longed for his hug almost daily but was too embarrassed to ask for it. I leaned on his shoulders and he pulled me closer to him. 

The hug shows that he can understand what I am going through now. I can hear his heartbeat sync with mine. I wonder if he can feel it too. After all, I wasn't nervous to talk about it to him. In fact, I am glad that I did. He didn't ask for any more details about the vision and let me melt into his arms, which felt like heaven.

Alan:
If it is just a vision, how can you be so sure that it is because of you?

Me:
I was with you.

Alan:
I am always with people around me. How can you tell it is solely because of you?

Me:
Because Tony is out here for revenge and I am a part of the reason for him going to the prison.

Alan:
I was as well. Babe and Charlie too. You can't be so sure about it just from a glimpse of it. Trust me!
