EPISODE THREE. Friday Night Bites

"I'm not saying don't date the guy," Bonnie says as she, Elena, and Cassie walk out of her car. "I'm just saying take it slow."

"You were the one who said to go for it," Elena reminded her, and Cassie laughed.

"Exactly, wait, I thought you were all for them going out because of his romance novel eyes," Cassie teases as she slings her bag over her shoulder.

"Why the about-face?" Elena asked as the three started walking.

"It's not an about-face," Bonnie shrugs. "You're single for the first time in your entire high school career. It's the perfect time to play the field."

"Oh, because I'm so that girl," Elena chuckles. "Seriously, what are you not saying?"

"Yeah, Bonnie. What are you not saying?" Cassie says, raising an eyebrow, and Bonnie looks at Cassie like she betrayed her.

"It's stupid," Bonnie shakes it off as she tries to continue walking, but Elena stops her.

"Bonnie..." Elena makes her look at her. "Spit it out."

"I accidentally touched Stefan," Bonnie admits. "And I got a really bad feeling."

"Is that it?" Elena asked as Bonnie tried to walk away, but she grabbed her again. "Bonnie."

Cassie crossed her arms. "Maybe Bonnie's right. Maybe it was really bad."

"Is this the whole witch mojo thing again?" Elena asked them.

"You know what? I'm just concerned," Bonnie tells her. "This is me expressing concern about my best friend's new boyfriend."

"And I love you for it, I do. But I feel good," Elena admits, and she turns to her sister. "It's been a hard year, and I'm starting to kind of feel like things are getting back to normal again. And you know what? Stefan is a big part of that."

"I still don't like him," Cassie says as she rolls her eyes.

Suddenly, she heard footsteps from miles away and then a voice, "Good morning, Elena. Good morning, Bonnie, and Cassie," Stefan said as he smiled.

"Hey, um, I gotta find Caroline," Bonnie said to Elena and Cassie. "She's not answering her phone, so I'll see you guys later."

"Yeah, I think I'll go find Cece. Bye." Cassie then moves past Stefan, hitting his shoulder as she walks off.

"Sorry about her," Elena laughs.

Cassandra sat in history class, using her index fingernail to scratch her wrist. She wasn't paying much attention to Mr. Tanner, although she could hear every word he was saying. She looked at her wrist as it started bleeding from how much she scratched it, but it healed up immediately before anyone could notice.
