___________Recap...
Regardless of if he meant to tell me this or not, I understand why the others were so pressed. There's simply still so much more I don't know about this world. About what I am now. I just hope that they'll be there with me when I figure it out.
Because I want to stay their side as long as they can.

===========It's been a few days since the day we were all reunited. Leif was still out of shape, fading in and out of consciousness. Practically bed-ridden. Asch says his body is just trying to catch up to the shock of being healed- well according to Rhys who told him. Speaking of Rhys, he still refused to talk to me.
I had tried multiple times to strike a conversation, but nothing seemed to be getting through to him. He was just ignoring me. Asch had apologized on his behalf, claiming his current tantrum is out of concern for me. Bullshit.
"Gah!" I groaned as I angrily threw a punch out in front of me.
Pierce dodges it with ease, "He still not talking to you?" He asks as he dodges another.
Asch had made it abundantly clear that because of my newfound power, people would soon be out to get me. Arguing that it would be in my best interest to learn how to fend for myself- even a little. Without feeling much of a choice, Pierce volunteered to train me with basic hand-to-hand combat. And now here we are.
"What's his problem anyways!" I exclaim as I throw out a bunch of pathetic punches.
"I take that as a no-"
"Like!- I don't get it!" I exclaim, stomping my feet, "If he has a problem with me he should just tell me!" I yell out as I stop throwing punches- too preoccupied by the anger consuming my mind.
I hear Pierce chuckle before feeling a hand pat me on the head. It makes me freeze- catching me off guard. I look up at the tall brunette, meeting his steel blue eyes. "He's just worried"
I scoff, crossing my arms as I look away, "That's what Asch said too. But I think Rhys is just being a child!" I say with a humph.
Pierce hums, "No, he's just preparing himself"
I look back up at him, "For what?"
"The possibilities" He utters as he stares off into the forest.
I just stand there, not feeling any less upset over the situation. It isn't like Rhys to ask so rash. I hate it. "And what exactly are these possibilities on, huh? Me?" I scoff.
"Yes" I roll my eyes.
"Of course- I'm not even surprised" I groan. "Even then he should just tell me! It could even help him calm down a bit"
Although I stood by what I said, the look in Pierce's eyes made me shrink. Did I get it wrong? "Have you really not noticed why he's distancing himself from only you?" I take a moment to think, but nothing comes to mind. I was drawing blanks. Seeing this causes the brunette to let out a sigh, "He cares about you, Princess Ava. He cares so much"
I shrug, "Okay? But all of you do too and none of you guys are doing this- so?"
Pierce's brows furrowed as he looked at me with disappointment. I staggered back in response- his reaction catching me off guard. What's going on? Did I say something wrong? "If you can't figure it out, then it's hopeless" He sighs, before turning away, "Practice is done, go back to the base"
