Mary was once free from the mirror. She was a normal girl like any other. Though, she had often been misunderstood. She never behaved like all the other girls of her time. And she often found herself in trouble.
But there was one person that she could always count on. A best friend. Mary had once told her friend that she never wanted to become an adult. She never wanted to have to make difficult decisions. Little did she know that revealing this secret to her 'friend' had just sealed her fate.
Unbeknownst to Mary, her friend was a sorcerer and hearing that Mary did not wish to grow up, she made a deal with demons. A deal to keep Mary alive forever, as long as her image and soul was contained in a mirror. Any mirror, it did not matter. She could travel between mirrors, but she would never grow any older than she was when she was trapped.
Weeks later, Mary disappeared from her town. Everyone believed that she had simply run off with someone or that she ran away from her family. No one suspected that she was still watching them, eavesdropping and finding their deepest secrets. Using the mirrors, she traveled. She never grew, never aged. But her knowledge expanded as she found out more and more about the people around her.
She had never guessed that her best friend would be seeing her again. In a different time, when things were not as simple as Mary had thought they were.
