Returning to school after Halloween was hard for me. I knew that I wouldn't be able to summon Mary until either the next full moon or the next blood moon. The full moon was four nights away, yet I didn't want to wait to see her once again.

"Lisa, why haven't you talked to me since Halloween?!" Zander asked, rushing to my side.

"Oh, I've just been busy with research. I have a big project that's due in a few days," I lied.

"Do you need any help with it? Cause if you do, you know that you can always come to me. I'd be glad to-"

"No, thank you. I need to do this alone. And..... Oh! I have to get to class. Is that really the time?! I'm sorry, Zander. I'll see you later!" I said as I turned around and ran off. I didn't really have to get to class, but I needed to get away from him.

---Time Skip---

When I returned to my home that day, I ran to my room and shut the door, locking it. I rushed to my dresser and began rummaging through it. I had hidden most my books there when my mother got remarried. I remembered placing a book in there. A book that I had never seen before and that I was unable to read. It was in some strange language that looked like it was written in ancient runes.

I retrieved the book and went to sit down on my bed. I opened it up, muttering to myself that I was crazy for what I was about to attempt.

I flipped through the pages of the book until I came upon the enchantment that I had used to seal Mary in the mirror all those years ago. I turned the page once more and gazed upon the spell to make a deal with sealed souls. 'This will get her to do exactly as I tell her,' I thought to myself, marking the page and shutting the book. I slid the book under my bed and left my room to greet my mother and step-father as they arrived home from work.

---Night of a Full Moon---

I smirked as I crept down the stairs, three candles, a lighter, and the leather-bound book in hand. I went into the bathroom and shut the door, making sure to lock it. I turned on the light only so that I could light the candles and get to the marked page in the book. After I was ready, I flipped the light switch down and gazed into the bathroom mirror.

"Darkened heart that lies within me, show your true nature and bring out the powers contained. I had once sealed her in the mirrored world, but now I require her. Demons assist me in collecting my friend. bring her soul to me for my use. Let me help her as she helps me," I recited the spell and stood back. Then I smiled and chanted, "Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary."

My candles suddenly blew out and for a moment, I heard a girl laughing. then the candles re-lit themselves and standing in the mirror staring at me, was Mary. "Lisa, it's been too long," she said. I nodded in agreement.

"It has, my dear friend. But I have something to ask of you. I know a way to get you out of this mirror permanently, but I will need your assistance in return."

"What do you need me to do?" Mary asked, her eyes lighting up.

"There are some people that I require gone. Would you do me a favor and get rid of them for me?"

"Anything to get out of here, my friend. Who should I kill first?"

I smirked. "My step-father, Darien Johnston." Mary nodded and disappeared. I blew out my candles and took them, along with the lighter and book, back to my room. I fell asleep peacefully that night, dreaming of my step-father being killed.

---Next Morning---

I woke up extra early and got ready for school. I wrote a quick note to my mother telling her that i had gone to school early so i could study for a test, which was half true. I did have a test that I needed to study for, but the reason why I was leaving so early is so that I wouldn't be suspected for the murder of my step-father.

Once I arrived at school, my phone began ringing. I looked at the caller ID and saw my mother's image on it. I answered with a simple, "Hello."

"Lisa..... Lisa, I have some bad news," my mother said, her voice cracking slightly.

Feigning worry I asked, "Mother, what happened?"

"It's Darien. He......... He's dead. I don't know what happened, but somehow he's dead. Lisa, he's gone," she told me through sobs.

"Mother, have you called the police?"

"Yes..... yes, they're here right now. Lisa, they might pull you out of class later today. Just..... Please don't tell anyone what's going on right now. Not until the police have a suspect."

"Can't I tell my boyfriend?" I asked.

"No, I'm sorry, Lisa. You can't tell Zander."

"But mom, he'll know something's up when I see him today. He'll ask me what's wrong and if I tell him a lie or if I don't tell him anything, he might think that I'm cheating on him. Mother, please let me tell him. I won't tell anyone else. Please?"

"Okay, fine. But only Zander. I have to go now. Try to have a..... A good day. Love you, Lisa."

"Love you, too, mom," I said before hanging up. I smirked before forcing myself to frown. Zander was walking towards me.

"Hey, Lisa. How are you this morning?" he asked.

Instead of saying anything, I wrapped my arms around Zander and made myself cry. He held onto me before pulling away slightly. "Lisa, what's wrong? Are you hurt? Do you want to talk about it?" I nodded but didn't say anything. Zander pulled me to the side of the school and sat down. I sat next to him and cuddled up to him slightly.

"He's gone, Zander."

"Who?"

"My step-father. He's dead."

"How? What happened?"

"I don't know. My mother called me to tell me about it because I came to school early. I....... I don't want to be here right now."

"I know, I know. It's alright. You know, we could always skip first hour and go somewhere together. Would you like that, Lisa?" Zander asked. I nodded and weakly smiled at him.

"Yeah, sounds fun right now. Just let me get cleaned up a bit. I'll be right back, 'kay?" Zander nodded and I rushed to the closest girls' bathroom that I could find. I shut the door after checking to make sure no one was in there and locked the door. If I was caught, I'd be in trouble, though I was sure I could claim that I needed to clean up alone and didn't want someone barging in.

"Mary, I command thee to appear to me," I whispered, staring into the nearest mirror. The lights flickered before I saw Mary standing before me in the mirror. "You did it, I presume?" I asked.

"Of course, Lisa. It was simple to kill him. He was too shocked to do anything." I laughed at that and smiled at Mary.

"I have another person for you to get rid of."

"Who is it?"

"I know that my mother will remarry if I do not get rid of her first. I am old enough to take care of myself, and once she's gone and you are out, we can live together as we had back then," I told Mary. I hoped that promising her what she wanted- freedom and to live with me -that she would continue to do my 'dirty work' for me.

"I understand, Lisa. I will kill her as soon as I get the chance to."

"Oh, one more thing. Make sure to kill her when I am with someone else and not around the house. I wouldn't want to be suspected of any of this, and who would believe a girl from a mirror could kill anyone?"

"Oh, how little people know, Lisa," Mary joked. She then faded away and I returned to Zander. We left school grounds and went to get something quick to eat before just walking around the town a bit.

'My plan is going perfectly,' I thought while with Zander. I knew that everything would be just as I wanted it to be. Everyone I wanted gone would be just that. Gone.
