After you and Kyle had left the Tweek Bros Coffee Shop, Cartman's plan was soon commenced after they'd all thoroughly spoke about it.

Cartman had instructed Tolkien that he was to rent out a motel room, preferably something like a Motel 6. The boy didn't hold back on the specifics, mentioning that he must make sure that the room has only a king size bed, no twin beds, just one big bed. The boys would then have the task of going to the store to retrieve the necessary items to further prepare the room before it was time to bring Wendy over.

Tolkien had driven himself and Cartman around town to retrieve the items, which consisted of many different stops through different stores. The local florist was one of the first stops, where Cartman had instructed the other boy that he would need flowers, specifically red roses. That didn't seem suspicious to Tolkien at all, red roses were romantic, so... he went through with it, buying a few dozen roses of the best quality for the woman he loved.

Next, they went to a general store, this time they would need to retrieve more simpler items, like tealight candles, and a few lighters. At the store Cartman had also had a CD picked out of some sort of romantic genre. Something soothing, without lyrics, but just overall would set the 'mood'.

As the two boys were driving through town to retrieve the items, Tolkien had made the reservations for the room through his cellphone. It was simple enough for the room to get rented, but he couldn't really shake off a thought from his mind that just kept bothering him. "Why are you helping me, Eric?" Tolkien asked him, a hint of suspicion in his tone.

Tolkien was someone who always wanted to give the benefit of the doubt, who wanted to see the best in people but... Cartman was a different story. He was always skeptical of the dude's presence, and even questioned multiple times why either groups had allowed the boy to hang out with either of them. Let alone, the fact that he was willing to go through with Cartman's plan instead of question it at first, just made him even more confused. He must've been really desperate to make it up to Wendy.

"What's the matter, buddy?" Cartman asked Tolkien in the most innocent of tones that he could pull off. Batting his eyelashes at the boy as he sat in the passenger seat of his luxury car, and clasping his hands together. "I hate seeing my friends fight, you have no idea how much it sucked seeing you and Wendy yell at each other."

Tolkien only gripped tighter onto the steering wheel now, knowing that Cartman wasn't doing this out of the good of his heart. It wasn't in him to do things to help others, he must've wanted something in return, or just planning on sabotaging the relationship altogether. "Cut the crap, Cartman." Tolkien spoke in a colder tone, and glared at the boy. "What the hell do you expect in return? You're not doing this like it's some charity."

Cartman only pretended to be shocked, and hurt by the assumptions that Tolkien had thrown at him. "I am hurt that you'd think so lowly of me." He rolled his eyes, as he glanced over at Tolkien. "Seriously, is it so wrong of me to go out and help someone for goodwill?"

Tolkien firmly pressed his lips into a line to stop himself from saying anything else. He had no time to argue with the other, but rather was just desperate to get Wendy to forgive him, to talk to him again. He thought about it more, candles, and flowers... That seemed romantic, maybe Cartman really was doing this out of the good of his heart? It didn't feel right putting those two words together 'Cartman', and 'good'.

Pulling into the Motel 6 parking lot, Tolkien went to the front desk where he'd be able to retrieve the key to the room that he rented out. During all of this, Cartman had given the OK to Butters to go on with the other part of the plan, which was getting Wendy to the Motel. In order to get Wendy to the Motel 6, they had come up with the idea to make it seem as though she were needed because of a crime that was being investigated which may have her involvement.
