With the roller rink rented out, both you and Tolkien returned to get started on a few more personal touches before Team Stan and Team Craig returned with the necessary items to decorate the place. You both sat at one of the available tables, with the printed pictures, different colored papers. Honestly it just looked like a field day for an elementary school kid who was into arts and crafts. Tolkien was determined to make the journal personal, add his own flare to it, no matter how inexperienced he was with... journal making.

"Wow, that's so sweet!" You couldn't help but nearly gush at the sweet way that he wrote about each picture on different pages of the journal. He had a picture of him and Wendy at the ski resort last winter, and wrote down his memories and how he enjoyed the way he helped keep her warm by the fire after some snow had melted through her clothing.

Tolkien couldn't help but chuckle slightly, as he added a cute little drawing, it was pretty much a stick figure of him and Wendy sitting beside a fireplace. Regardless of the lack of skill he had, the way that he put so much thought and effort into this journal was admirable. It was from the heart, and Wendy was absolutely going to be taking that into account.

Team Stan was amongst the first to return back from their shopping spree, each boy holding multiple bags of decorative items. Turning upon hearing the chatter of the boys walking in, both you and Tolkien went wide-eyed at the 150 balloons that were brought in, as well as the fact that each Team Stan member carried two bags in each hand. Who knew what the hell they purchased.

"We're back!" Butters exclaimed excitedly as he ran up to both you and Tolkien who were still seated at the table. Butters set down the bags further away on the table, before he pulled out the confetti and splayed the unopened bags on the table. "Y/N check these out, they have wieners on them!"

"Wait, you fucking bought those?!" Kyle immediately went wide-eyed as he rushed over to Butters to see if he actually bought the bachelorette confetti. He wasn't lying though, he did in fact have the bachelorette confetti in front of you, and quickly turned to see your expression.

Your eyes were wide and you quickly snapped your head to Butters and had a slight tint on your cheeks. "Is your idea of romantic a man's wiener?!" You quickly reached out and looked through the rest of the bags he put down, seeing that they were filled with the Valentines confetti. Slapping your hand against your face, you gave a small groan seeing the Valentines themed confetti.

Taking in a deep breath, you then couldn't help but have a slight smile on your face. "Okay. I can't get mad about these. The thought was there, even if the Valentines theme doesn't fit." You spoke, as you looked over the 'XOXO', 'Be My Valentine', 'Valentine U R Divine', cheesy confetti cutouts. "We can make it work."

The rest of Team Stan joined both you all now, and began to unpack the bags of goodies that they'd purchased. The balloons were tied to a nearby stand, where you would probably figure out where to disperse of them when it was later in the evening. Stacks of confetti, streamers, banners, and plates, napkins, forks, and cups were pulled out.

"Wait, wait. Plates, napkins, forks?" You tried to figure out what they purchased these for. "We didn't plan on these ones, was this out of impulse?" You tried to look over to Kyle for some sort of answer, before his eyes widened and a hint of realization was shown.

"Oh! Kenny how about you show her?" The boy turned to Kenny, who'd brought out a white box to the table now, for both you and Tolkien to see. The lid was opened, and there was a gorgeous decent sized cake on the inside of it, which was colored in purple and white, with a few handmade roses as decoration on it. A handwritten message in a cursive font reading 'I love you, Wendy' written on it.

"Guys..." Tolkien felt his heart leap in his chest, and his eyes glisten with excitement upon seeing the grand cake in front of him now. "That's really amazing, I'm glad you went out of your way to do something like this." He smiled as he looked between the boys, his gratitude was obvious in his eyes as he had a new glimmer of hope now that things were starting to come together.
